It works fine at level 1 If you are bossing and an add Attacks you, calm will get it off you and onto someone else. More points --> better it works. It does work at lvl 1... But it's not always effective. Hmm.. Never tried it at 1. Maybe I wont have to waste points in it then if I just use my ring....

Solo I use a combo and if I dont have a combo I use xp, en, and hp.
Most of the time I use a combo in a group as well but it mainly depends on if I am going to be attacking as well or just healing

Being a hybrid is a little bit more difficult if you are going to try to use your hybrid build to boss as well. I recommend.. The only time I use calm is to keep adds off me at bosses and I only put 10/35 pts in it. Works well for me with just that(:
