Yeah, all eagles (lv 1 tier 1 included) are completely bugged and reduce an enormous amount of health, energy, and armor (level 2 at ~300 ability reduced my rogue's hp from 4.7k to 1.7k, energy from 2.2k to 63, armor from 627 to 0). Tested it with my rogue and mage, and my mage with 3 of my friends....
