Welcome to forums. 1/6 of yer energy bar? I would really really suggest not maxing out your ice shards skill. Look at the energy cost of 20/25 and then 25/25 it's extreme for only a measured change in DMG. I'm not saying how you should spec yer toon, but I would float around 19/25 and then use ring...

Yes I tried all of that and its not helping, not very useful in long battles when u need to attack. I like sacrifice but u have to change it to the original discription of the skill (less health for more energy).
