I watched Halloween (1978) with a bunch of friends a few hours ago. Gotta say, I think I was the only one in the room not laughing during the suspenseful scenes at how 'poorly the film has aged'. Maybe it's because this is the first horror film I've ever watched, but I honestly found it a bit spooky...

It was a bit more than I had bargained for, to be honest.

Very good, but also relentlessly disturbing at times. It didn't seem to give much time to breathe between the intensity either, I noticed.

If I had to rate it, I'd say probably an 8/10.
