Yes, unfortunatly we are very under powered. Im a ranger and always willbe one but this problem is a bit sadening...

I love rangers, takes time and patience, but ive been an archer or ranger in every medival mmo type game ive played and im not stopping now

It generally depends on the items you have. For instance, I have (basically) full meteoric and some frozen, which adds energy. Also, I didn't switch to dex build until 120 (and adamant bow) and it seems to be working good.. If you can afford it, buy two rebirth books and optionally, alt books, and ...
