I'm a fire-focussed mage of lvl 100 with:
Firebolt 25/25
Cloak 20/25
Lure of Fire 23/25
E-shield 15/25
Incinirate 21/25

With these stats im doing quite well

Ice magic is more powerful but fire magic has a quicker charging and casting time and uses less energy compared to ice
