I lvled most of my 150 to 180 with a Bone spear and a Void trident, but have also lvled with my frozen, the bone daggers, knuckle blades, and bone knuckles. i agree with you for the most part with str on 1 and 2* mobs, but i also found with increase vit i didn't have to use pots or combos to tackling 3-4* mobs where you earn most of your exp.
