Strange as I was leveling with another fire mage yesterday and we both thought that the lower lvls mobs (195) had lower resistance to fire as we were smashing them pretty fast.

hmm. I know that ice does higher dmg but as has been said (again and again) the cooldown time for ice sucks. I find that fire is pretty good for short and long fights. As always, it is up to you and at high levels a lot depends on your gear like the reduce cooldown time jewelry. good luck

I would swap your lure and eshield points. Max the shield and go about half on lure. Stick the remainder in shards.

It is a bit of a pain if you have great gear but if you are at that lvl then I am guessing you are in a good clan who do lots of boss kills. OP. Opinions vary but I would suggest: 90 - 100 lvl on purples for a couple of levels and then switch to blue eyes. They are easier to kill than trees. 100-110 kill the various kelpies and trees near swamp 110-115 Big circuit of the brown trees or start on phantoms and do them through to 120 120-130...

tbh as a mage you never need to group lvl. It is more interesting when you are just grinding on mobs to have someone to do it with but you will very rarely find a group where you get same or more exp on a lix than when solo. Depends how bored you get with grinding. Good luck

Based on 3 mages over lvl100 - all solo
30- 60 Shalemont
60 - 80 Stonevale
80 - 85 Red then Green eyes in otherworld
85 - 90 Green then Purple eyes
90 - 100 Blue eyes
100 - 110 Mix of kelpies and trees near swamp
110 - 115 Brown trees past swamp
115+ take your pick

I have some pretty op jewelry, rings etc and I can't max 7 skills. Always happy to learn from others. Would like to know how to max other skills up to 7, although I think I would just max my fire lure and maybe freeze

There is that strange effect with Priestess where if you make the skill higher than 190 then it breaks. You have to set freeze skill at 37 for Priestess. Don't know why you would go with 50 but perhaps some other mage can offer an explanation
