Re: Arawn killed aggragoth again

Seems to me like this is the most feasible way to do things as smelly has suggested. I agree that a lvl 150 mainhand drop should go to highest lvl of that class. I realize that means bada will get but it seems rediculous for a 130 something, who is probably weeks if not months from 150 to b sitting on such a weapon when another member of the group might be able to use it soon. 2 groups of high levels seems manageable now and I think rolling is the fairest way to do it. +1 to the inter-clan collaboration here. If I'm on and aggy is up, I'll come whack some wyrmtamers.

Nukegurl was online yesterday and gave us some tips from when they fought aggragoth. They had 3 groups, and took them 1.5 hours.

1) have one group with a warrior in it doing warcry to get all the adds. Have him take all the adds to the east (or was it west? lol) away from aggy. She said the adds respawn from where they last died. I dont know about this, so I'll need someone to verify. But you could potentially have an add group with one warrior doing warcry, and a couple druids keeping him alive. And then no one kills the adds, they just stay on the warrior that is tanking the adds. That way the adds would be busy the whole fight, leaving the other group to kill aggy, worry free.

2) The other is that when aggy climbs the wall, you can target him better if you zoom in and out and then click in between his feet. I havent tried this, but it is something worth investigating.

I do not know if Cali and Drood will be ready and able to survive the ads, but if it seems he is, I will offer him up for this... At least they can help with this,as i do not think they will be as useful for the main dragon groups by the next spawn. Just an offer.

Though spending 1.5 hours of simply surviving ad aggro might be a bit taxing... :?

This is a great discussion. Even though I'm not from Arawn I'm learning lots from it. My favourite part was this "Freudian typo" from Caliban:
Loot Diatribution
loot distribution + diatribe = an unfortunately common occurrence
Lugh | Lightface: Druid 141 | Kaonashi: Druid 141 | FacepaIm: Rogue 141
The B Team: Noface: Warrior 130 | Tsundere: Mage 130 | Smileyface: Druid 130
Retired from CH since 2013

Like aleph, not an Arawn resident, but this seems like a good drop/kill strategy. Good to see multiple clans on the same objective(not ksing of course). For a drop that has no class mabye you should give to a "MVP" who hasn't already got a drop and is agreed upon by a majority. The random roll idea seemed ok, but it might cause a situation if someone wants it for an alt, but the holder wants for a clanny(based from past experiences). Another idea is if a member has a legit alt/ main of the class. One of my best friends on Gwydion plays more on his alt Druid(124) then his main mage(127), even though his Mage is a higher level. Just a few suggestions, hope they help out.

We did aggy today with two groups, one for adds and one aggy. Adds group had one warrior tank and two druids. Main group had three druids, one tank, two rangers and the rest rogues. We killed aggy in an hour and not a single idol was used. There were four drops, a druid level 150 book and 3 rings. The drops allocation was based on the rules agreed and it worked out great. The book went to highest level druid who is level 150. One ring is for rogue, one for mage and one for warrior. The rogues and warriors rolled for the respective class rings. There was no mage in group so the three clans rolled to see which clan it goes to. we are keeping a record of who gets what drop so the same player will not get the same drop twice. The strategy worked great because everyone in the group worked well with each other and there was no squabble over drops.

Tea, thanks. Yes, we will work with good people from other clans but will not group the bad ones. We were hoping you would come on to join us. The fight was so easy.
