Re: A new sharing agreement for pyrus?

I like the idea of rolling but can we please keep it to raid bosses that take co-operation rather than branching it out to bosses that can be tackled by single clans. The only exception should be if there are 2 groups present at the fight.
Sounds fine to me. The point of this discussion is to address when two groups arrive at a fight

However, I just wanted to point out that this discussion may all be for nothing. I just got word that an uskoci leader (not sure if I can name him but pm me if you want to know) said that the first capable group to a boss should just go ahead and kill it, and went ahead and implementedthat rule on rockbelly. I don't care if this is the case, I just want us all to be on the same page so when the time comes no one is badmouthing my clan when we kill a boss clan only. The rules should be the same for everyone, and this will only work if everyone abides by it.

You could say that bitey but why would say jakos tank and night heal they do it to benefit clan and if clan has a chance of yellow lion to benefit clan
I've pesonally seen rolls done on a drop by drop basis and a rogue won the warrior drop and then sold it
And if i could give a ranger the chance of a frozen bow then thats what i would like to do
Both clans operate very differently bada sell drops within clan where as usk give freely to next guy in line
Well now what you are talking about is a difference in clan philosophy. I won't comment on what uskoci does with drops, but in badabing we keep our drops in clan. we sell, or give for free, drops to people that need them in the clan. They are sold at a severely reduced price to compensate the seller for the amount of idols and pots they used to get it, as well as the time it took them to camp and kill the boss. This also reduces the chance of the person trying to secretly sell the drop outside of the clan for a profit, using a secret alt. It also ensures that the buyer is not just using the clan for handouts. They are actually earning the drop as well. This policy exists as a compromise that respects the efforts of the person that kiled the boss, and the need of the person buying the drop.

Drop distribution should be organised between the 2 groups before the fight starts. That way there will be no confusion after the fight, like pyrus, and everyone will know whether they're rolling or if the drops are being given to those who need.

You are misinformed. While it is nit required to give drops free to clannies, alot of our members do. We have set low clan prices if someone chooses to sell. But free drops are given all the time

Well my opinion is, again, let things go as they are, i dont think pyrus is any serious problem to be babling about for so long. Badabing chose to be a small clan and uskoci chose to be a big one, and with a big clan having capable people to take down a boss like pyrus is just an advantage that the smaller clan doesnt have. Like lego said it isnt an end game boss to be discussing it so seriously, yes there is a problem when only one clan is taking the boss even when the members of the other clan are camping, but having a lower amount of people in the main group doesnt sound like a problem to me, if there is a bigger clan it only makes sense that they would have more people in the group.

Multi clan groups rolling for the lion is a reasonable solution however, I would say that only the people who are class eligible for the drop get to roll for it. Trying to equip your alt rogue while there are three other rogues who need it isn't right. Also, if nobody is at the fight with the class that the lion is for, it should stay with who got it.

Just my suggestion.

Always group who is there first. Then discuss who else needs to be in group to kill the mob. If less than 8 are camping, work together as a darn team. Roll for drops for the players who are present, not for alts or friends. We should reward the players who are camping the mob before anyone else, always. This might be an odd viewpoint but I am looking at the bigger picture. Our world could be the best if we treat players like we would in real life. If there is a special sale at Best Buy on something, the people there get the deal. You can call your friends to try and get in on the deal but by the time they get there they might be too late.

My opinion and you don't need to agree.

1) this is a game and it is suppose to be challenging.
2) sharing the boss make it easy and this not how the game is design for and meant to be played.
3) this sharing will not and have not been working. Just see the drama everyday revolving bosses.
4) why level so high or have clans if bosses are share.
5) does sharing really make the game enjoyable
6) do what u do in real life. Be competitive.
