Hello, i am gonna start a mage account. should i use a ice mage or fire mage?
If i should make fire mage where should i put stats?

Wrong forum, you should go to the mage forum and ask. That being said, start out fire. It is better for lvlling.

Fire is recommanded for lvling, most stats in focus and few in vit. Other mages shld be able to help u more in mage forums.

Fire can slightly out dps ice over a while because fire bolt has no cast time. Ice is easier to dual-device with though.

What I did was use fire until like level 190 and at level 190 I went ice and got ice recast gear like a skull or necral braclet and I was a beast

And stats are the same for ice and fire just 3 in focus 2 and vit and peice of advice don't waste points on energy shield max out dps skills and the buffs for them

Pfft my e shield on a full focus only had spares in it and I stayed alive just fine at EG.

I never even used eg shield and I never died...
