Firstly I’d like to thank VR for organizing this event I definitely had fun brainstorming and creating a new mount concept!

Now that winter has come, flooding Dal Rita in snow the Artic War Lion has arrived and is only going to thrive.

The War Lion is a mount concept with 7 tiers, their eggs are a rare drop from winter themed chests. In order to obtain the Artic War Lion, which is the strongest tier, you need a tier 6 Ferocious War Lion plus 6 Lion eggs.

The Artic War Lion’s Skill: “Frost Wave”

Description:
The enchanted snowflake allows heroes to fly across the realm in style! It's magical properties allows the snowflake to persist regardless of the weather. Here I display just one potential design of the mount, but different tiers can easily be incorporated through color changes and effect changes as well.


Note: Image was drawn by me. I used a free Christmas themed brush for the snowflake template.

Mount Description:
The powers embedded within the snowflake increases the users speed by 120%. In addition, the user experiences 50% camouflage due to the snowflakes icy reflective surface, allowing the hero to blend in with the sky as they soar above their enemies. Upon equipping the mount, heroes obtain the skill "Thaw", which when casted creates an aura around the hero which slows down all nearby enemies by 30%.

The Yule Father has brought many gifts of splendor and jubilance this Yuletide season, but the greatest gift of all was of a different caliber. It was a gift meant to weaken Crom’s dominion and shelter Dal Riata from horrors to come. The time for ax and blade was now.
It was in the high, snow driven mountains that the war beasts were bred. Their scales shone of silver marble. They had wings of sheer power and delicate grace. Their horns flickered bright in the moonlight. In blizzards they are almost impossible to discern. With their quick jaws and smashing power they are not a force to be trifled with. They are ever loyal to each other and anyone else they would call a friend.
It takes the greatest of hunters to kill them, but only a hero could possibly tame one. Let it be said that the Yule Father has not forsaken us, but has blessed us with an ethereal creature to aid against the spawn of Chaos.

The Aeolvryn

It is said that long ago, every year during the season of yule, the Aeolvryn would open a portal from their world to bring on the snow and yule festivities to all of Dal Riata. The Aeolvryn would bring gifts from their land for the inhabitants, and many speculated that the extent of these gifts went far beyond the mere physical object, but rather, the gifts brought good luck and prosperity to the land. Others theorised that the gifts were a symbol of peace, and kept the land thriving due to the cordial environment these gifts upheld.

This tradition was held every year for centuries, until the arrival of the dark forces of Crom. The portal to their land began to fracture, and the Aeolvryn were forced back to their land. However, they left behind one final gift for the people of Dal Riata; a single feather from the mane of each Aeolvryn, with the ability to summon one across worlds to join forces with the heroes should the time come.

Details

Stored away in secrecy for many years, the enchanted feathers have appeared in mystery chests! These feathers have the ability to summon a tier 1 Aeolvryn, with 6 feathers needed to upgrade to a tier 6 mount. There are four different species of Aeolvryn, nicknamed by many as Aeolvryn of Day, Night, Dawn and Dusk.

(These mounts would make a great addition as there are a wide variety of lux pets, but only 1 lux mount, and not many mount options for casters and tanks)

Yuletide Llama

Two thousand years ago, deep inside a snowy mountain in Central Europe, lived a ‘Llama Herd’. A triumphant group of ‘Celtic Heroes’ were travelling near this mysterious place, which was, at the time unknown to most. A cria (baby llama) was born into the new world at this exciting time for the ‘Celtic Heroes’, but the cria was in extremely poor condition. The Celts were passing at the time, and helped the ‘Llamas Herd’ by creating a small fire to warm the cria up. When the Yuletide Llama grew up it was super grateful for all the help it had received over the years, and was extremely excited to finally travel out of its own herd to help and fight with the ‘Celtic Heroes’ for their journey.

While riding this llama your movement speed is increased by 120% and you can command it to use the skill ‘Poison Spit’ which spits out poisoned spit at its opponent causing their evasion skills to be temporarily weakened for 15 seconds and deals poison damage over 15 seconds, the Yuletide Llama also gives ’Snow Particles’ to its rider.

Hey everyone, for this yule I designed some festive drake mounts for Dal Riata!

Cousins of the dragons, the peaceful drake species lost their ability to fly long ago (no, they aren’t descendants of Santa’s reindeer; flying reindeer don’t exist ). Instead of raiding new lands and hoarding treasure, they stayed to guard Dal Riata.

Originated from the polar regions, they spend most of their time underground, hibernating and are rarely sighted, only at yule or if summoned with yule shards!


Primal Festive Cryo-drake:
The cryo-drake breathes frost, granting cold damage and camouflage. This mount’s skill adds 500 armor as your mount surrounds you with its scales to block up to 2300 incoming damage for 10 seconds. 50% of damage blocked is inflicted on the attacking mob and you cannot attack while this skill is active. The drake also has a bonus proc skill “sneeze” where your mounts sneezes a blast dealing up to 1500 cold damage and delaying your opponent’s next skill by 10% recast time.

My designed mount is the Yuletide Dryad







The Yuletide Dryad will include the skill FESTIVE ROOT. Upon the skill being cast, the target will be rooted in place for 2 seconds with a similar animation from the skill grasping roots. The mounts will vary in speed from 80%-100%

80%- Yuletide Broadleaf
85%- Yuletide Sapling
90%- Yuletide Truewood
95%- Yuletide Sentinel
100%- Yuletide Evergreen

(Names taken from the trees in other world)
With the increasing rarity in the higher % trees, they will be more decorated when they transform into a tree and more sparkly.

Characters will ride on the dryads back until they switch weapons or come to a halt. When someone comes to a stop while riding their YULETIDE DRYAD, the mount will transform from a ferocious beast to a festive Christmas tree. The transformation from the beast to a Christmas tree will resemble that of the trees in the other world/woody the woodcrown and bramblebark . Simultaneously, when you come to a stop while riding on the mount, your character will hop off and the transformation will begin.

These are the stats for the T6 variant as it was impossible to find a spirit tortoise on the internet, but the spirit tortoise would have the following stats: 240 stat, 750 hp/100 dmg/400 armor, 300-450 resists, 2000 damage skill and -500 resistance/armor/+armor.
