How did he get scanned

I took a break from the game for a few months, decided to come back. Well maybe the first night back at playing i had a "friends alt" stop to say hello, reminded me who his main was. I was good friends with this person, he asked to borrow my avalanche sled, sure no problem. Then this so called friend asked to borrow all my gold just long enough to be declared the richest in game. I got suspicious did not give any gold and looked in area for the person, realized it was a level 1 character. Yep was my fault i gave up something that cost me real life money. So of course i sent a message to tech support, you know how that turned out. The problem i have most is being able to have a name spelled so close to another character, happened many times to others in game. I or l looks very similar in any name Shiela....ShieIa, and when they know you, that is how u can get scammed. That is why I do not like loaning anything out anymore.
