Why do people hate seeds?

Why do people had seedlings? They do not bear fruit. But they are an integral part of any worlds life cycle. The seeds of any world help the world to grow. Some seedlings block out others light, but the vast majority of seedlings let the other plants grow and help them in that process. For those who haven't figured it out yet, im talking about seed. They exist in order to help their own seedlings, and when possible they exist in order to help others. They have to take the abuse of other trees, who try to block out their light in order to kill them. They are just like any other clan. They started out on rocky earth, but have strived to move to the more fertile grass in order to grow better. But other people try to block their light, so stop them moving, without even knowing their stories. They have grown without fertilizer, to become one of the tallest trees in the forest known as crom.
