Build Guides

#1
Hey everybody thought I'd post some builds to get y'all started considering I've been asked quite a bit for them in game ;)

So without further ado,

Rogues
Stats to have

Dexterity: 50 point base (regardless of melee class I find 50 is the sweet spot for accuracy as gear evens it out at higher lvls)

Focus: 10-20 (if you have around 50 energy regen and some gear for max energy you can probably stick closer to 10)

Strength: Here I SUGGEST taking 2/5 of your leftover points and putting them here.

Vitality: your remaining 3/5 should be placed here.

SKILLS:
QUICKSTRIKE(maxed, doesn't interrupt your auto attack so its literally free dps)
SHADOWSTRIKE(maxed, poison damage so what you see damage wise is pretty much what you get)
SNEAKYATTACK(maxed, great opener use it whenever possible, try hitting SNEAKYATTACK then QUICKSTRIKE on ranger type mobs so they can't interrupt it)
RIPOSTE (maxed, does insane damage if used right, taking on two 1 star mobs then activating this just rakes in xp)
FASTREFLEXES(remaining points, makes lvling easier and soloing bosses a breeze especially with a resist bracer)
Please note that this build is dependent on at least near lvl appropriate gear for full effectiveness and of course some luxury items, the new event ammy of course being the best to have. Also note that after 150 mobs hit much harder and you have access to the lvl 150 luxury shop in carrowmore take advantage of that as a rouge I suggest an evasion bracer and an Axe fire will be more help towards engame content yet the ice Axe is better for otherworld content due to their resistances respectively, I personally suggest ice as the server is still new and the higher ups myself included spend a lot of time in The Otherworld still, a regen ammy if you're forgoing the event one, and possibly a stat ring of your choice based on your gear unless you're able to take down the 2014 event bosses (like galar kron comrak or garanak) assuming you do have decent str (around 350) without stat points invested you can add literally all your points to vitality, if you do decide to go this route invest in ancient breastbone gear the damage bonuses are very nice.

Rangers
Dexterity: 50 base (seems low but stay with me)

Focus: 10 (Offhand has regen so you're set elemental damage quiver is the way to go)

Strength: 3/5 remaining points

Vitality: 2/5 remaining points

Skills to have:
STEADYAIM(maxed, adds damage to your auto and adds a lot of accuracy to each shot, so less Dex)
RAPIDSHOT(maxed, speed is your friend more speed more damage)
LONGSHOT(or)DOUBLESHOT(maxed, really no need for both unless you're bossing DOUBLESHOT is better IMO because its less situational)
LIGHTHEAL(or)BOLAS( Bolas with long shot lightheal with doubleshot)
SHARPENWEAPONS(remaining points)
SHARPSHOT(0/XX, not worth using unless youre trying to hold aggro, I personally just use it as a taunt of sorts)
Lux Gear to have:
Ammy
Fire or Ice quiver
Fire or Ice damage helm

Warrior
(P.S. I play it like a rouge for the most part :D)
Stats:
Dexterity: 50 base

Vitality: varies, for taking go all vit, for OW lvling 2k HP, for carrowmore 2.5-3k HP)

Focus: 10 (add 5-10 points to the base as needed but costs are so low in contrast to energy regens at your lvl that you really don't need any, some energy gear is a nice substitute)

Strength: whatevers left :)

Skills to have:
PROTECTIVESTANCE(maxed, bread and butter)
RUPTURE(axe warriors are really strong thanks to this ability, does NOT currently work with sword, so you'll have to train your Axe ability takes about 1hr on ability elixirs)
SHATTER(maxed, lead with this can seriously add some damage to your big hits)
GIANTSWING(maxed, cast this along with rupture after you cast shatter for maximum damage)
DEFENSIVEFORMATION(remaining points)
TAUNT(0/XX)
WARCRY(0/XX)
****Using both taunt and warcry at 0 usually keeps aggro along with your dps But if you're the main tank for a serious boss, you'll want at leat one of these maxed in place of giant swing****
As for lvling your Axe ability my suggestion is buying a one handed Axe from the NPC near the beach in Lirs where you started, equip that and remove all of your damage related gears and use a heroic wisdom lix (you can purchase these for around 500g or if you're lucky people just literally give these away sometimes) then go to the arena and just swing away on the daily quest mob closest to your lvl, please note that you cannot use lixs in the arena so when it expires port to the arena leystone in farcrag castle, re-apply the elixir, then proceed back, making sure not to actually kill the daily mob.

Luxury Gear to have:
Ammy
Fire or ice Axe
and/or
Luxury Shield, honestly both if you can afford them.

HASTE RING RECCOMENDED FOR ALL MELEE CLASSES!

MAGE and DRUID coming soon...

Don't know if you'd want to know but here is my build.

Str 150 (420)
Dex 230 (400)
Foc 10 (60)
Vit 400 (cant remember)

Im hybrid, seems well for pvp, bossing and leveling. Some may be off by 5 or 10.
