Celtic Heroes

Been sitting on this for a few days thinking on what this game means to me and why I see the need to spend over $400 this year on it.. I have came to this understanding:

After spending time with some really cool players talking about the topics and events I do, they helped me to decide a few things.

Why I play, a few years ago I was dealing with some really bad things in my life, still dealing with the lose of my Daughter, and coping with my Father dealing with pancreatic cancer to name a few so I took in to a game and befriended some really smart players, they helped me pull away from some of the darkest days, after some time it all had to end.

Now I am back and I see most of my old friends are still around mostly in Prime and some of them are gone, I miss the old days of just having fun farming poinless areas helping people at random, back then it was our game.

Now I sit here and ponder why am I following orders to just stay on my main toon and nothing else, is this "there" game or is it mine?
Yes I understand you got burnt, you put time, effort, givin free gear to key players and they left you.. It hurts, it burns you out and so on..
I didnt ask for you to help me with anything nor Did I ask you for any item, and because of your high and mighty attitude I will never ask for your help, If people want me in the group they will invite me, if they want my help they can ask but I will not lean on any of you for gear, level or time. I just dont need to be put in your line of sight again. Just because your burnt out dont mean I need to be where your at just because your pissed off all the time.

Now I will work with others in group helping them to level while there on pots, I will also give drops as directed to do so at the start of my joining but I will not just stay on one toon, I have a few toons that are lower levels, I help others on how to run as a team, help them complete quest with out handing it to them just by jumping on my warrior and doing all the work for them.
Further more I will be spending time on the give away events, its my money / gold and I will do what I want with it, and that means getting on Merlin to host it.
What will not happen is I will not stay in groups durning boss fights, I will find a boss, make the call, wait for people to join and then wait for the fight to start then bail out of the fight and help burn the boss down, God forbid that Some level 150 player carry my low level but through a boss fight that in no way I can do alone. You can keep your drops and I can still be a usefull and suitable member of Prime if not then au revoir!

This post is not inteneded to hurt anyones fealings even tho you didnt give a crap how I felt when you guys started to bash me in clan chat. Nor is it to start others childish spam postings of off topic posts, its more or less a self resolve and a self therapeutic answer to what I am going to do with my entertainment time on CH.

to come back on this subject i like to say again that we dont all agree. *some* members where bashing you in clan chat coz as far as we talked about not all where aganist it. i still support your events and think you should do what you like to do. and some player on danu should look at them self very closly before they trash talk other clan or none clan members...

I wasn’t logged in when this happened. I personally support what you are doing, and I think it is a shame that you are not in the clan anymore. I feel uncomfortable to hear that you were bashed by some of the clan members, as it seemed that not all members actually minded what you were doing. Also, I’m very sorry to hear about your loss.

What you need to understand is that our clan is beyond lvl 100 content.
So we made a rule where if your main isnt lvl 140 you should not be makin alts.
With that said lets take a look at your current status.
Your main toon is lvl 109, in our clan you can not get frozen until you are level 120.
So at the time of joining our clan at lvl 109 your #1 goal should be to show us that you are a player that is fit for our clan.
NOT join our clan an start making alts and asking for mind tabs the first week your in it.
So when I and every other member of prime said to you, Hey man lvl your alts after your main is 140, that probably was the right advice you should of taken.
NOT argue with us about how our rules are wrong and you can do what you want.
Last week alone we had 2 recruits that just joined and surprisingly forgot they had a main and made alts and started lvling them right away and shouting for mind tabs.
Our clan has moved on from the "let anyone join and have free reign on our clans drops"
So with that said, we have 103 prime members above your lvl of 109, 50 of them are 140+
I know you just wrote your page long post about how we are the big bad guys but have you ever stopped to look at it from our point of view?
YOU joined our clan and worried about YOUR alts NOT what EVERYONE in the clan was saying for you to focus on.
You need to understand that coming into our clan you are the little guy and it is your job to prove to us that you're a good clan member which you obviously failed at.
To further show how it wasn't any primes fault you had to leave how about this.
1 new person walks into a group of 50 people.
The 50 people who have been there for over a year tells the 1 new person what he should do the 1 person then flips out and says we are being mean and taking the fun out of the game, give me a break.
The best part about this post is I even told the clan that you were alright and to just explain how being a lvl 109 main with no desire to lvl him isn't what we want in our clan and to just stick to a main.
But apparently you didn't like that either, so I say good riddance.

Last words:
Dont join a clan and expect them to bend over backwards for you the first week you join, show them you are a good clan mate not just a leech.

I have never asked for mind tabs and I had the chief and Blaz and two other generals talk with me on the rules before I even joined, this stuff about leveling to 140 wasnt said.
I dont want your tabs, gear, disks the only thing I wanted was to run with my friends that where in prime.
All that other crap you guys spammed in clan chat was unprovoked, I am glad someone said it because now I know but it could have been delt with in a better manner.
I think some times we forget how to play the game and get rapped up in to much rules and crime prevention that we over look the ones who just want to have fun with others.

The people that want to have fun and not have us monitor them are the same ones that screw us.

its not about what 50 ppl tell you to do we most not forget that some ppl dont lvl as fast as others do some dont use pots or plat but take there time this game is about fun too and not just show how loyal you are by lvling coz loyality doesnt matter in lvls even 145+ ppl leave when they want to and besides that Romo is perfect example hes bin with us for longest time never potted and stil is at every single boss fight and idols just as much i would not wane miss ppl like that for anything hes more usefull at 130+ then some 150+ who dont help at bosses at all...

This post is not anti-prime whatsoever but I have to mention that prime is turning this game into a "business". Playing a game like it's serious business does not make it fun.
There's a reason why CH is called a "game".

Couple of good examples.
Those professional players who play in official warcraft/starcraft championships (meaning they're getting paid to play, like a job).
Go ask them whether warcraft/starcraft is fun, most likely half of them would say no.

I'm not saying warcraft/starcraft are horrible games, they're good.
But what ruins the fun of it is the "seriousness-business-ish" spirit you put into those games.

BTW, this is another reason why I joined Unbreak and never really thought about prime.

I repeat, this is NOT an anti-prime post!

But fellow primes did have a point, clans have rules, deal with them, though some clans are of course more strict than others (that's what made prime so powerful in the first place).

Well, to prime, it's good to have clan rules but don't turn this game into a "business", please.

They are a group of insanely strong players that want more of their kind so they make players and in return to having loyal players that help boss and level they reward them with gear. Do not assume they're a "business".

What did I just said? That post was not anti-prime. And when I said "like a business", I did not physically mean it IS a business (see the quotation mark lol). I was trying to say that though CH is a great game, it's not a really great idea to spend so much time on it that you can't live a normal life (a.k.a sleeping). I do agree that they are insanely strong and they want more of their kind. But Merlin did have a point, no one can dominate how much time you spend on CH.

Again, I'm not dominating anyone's choice and THIS IS NOT AN ANTI-PRIME POST.

So no need to defend bro, don't get angry.
