Think of it this way, the price is whatever you get for an item.
Anything below shop price is a discount, it just depends how desperate the seller is.
I personally never sell anything because I get bored of people making me offers.
The same went for plat items, I fixed my prices, if someone tried to negotiate, I just said no, I didn't need the gold so was doing it to help people in clan level.
