So i have a lv 106 mage that i use and i dont buy plat and i dont have a lot of time to always be playing this game. He has lux and full celestial armor but it just seems harder to play a mage and not have plat they seem to take more time and money than the other classes. So i was wondering if you guys think i should just keep playing a mage cause i have some elixirs and lux and stuff or create a new character like a ranger and lv him high then play a mage or give my stuff to my lv 105 rogue and use him? If you have any thoughts on this just post below

Nope. Nope.
Definitely not a ranger. You should have seen by now, and I certainly have, that rangers are a terrible choice. If you want to get back to your level again, make a rogue or warrior.

Your gonna learn that all classes take time and dedication to reach high levels. When you get sick of solo leveling it helps to act honorable and see if you can get someone to level with you that is close to your level, or a group of close levels and kill targets levels 12-15 higher than your own.
When you need a break just make a new class and move your items over, the mail system is a great way to do that with.

+1 to what Merlin has to say. My advice is to befriend druids 8-) . If you come across a hybrid druid close to your lvl, that can work pretty well with a mage. druid can add armor and health buffs, plus deal out a lil dmg while healing you. i've teamed up with mages many times and the combination has worked well for lvling. Mage provides good dmg and druid provides heals and buffs. also make sure your energy shield is at a good lvl for mobs that you'll be lvling on. Too high of a mob and they bust thru shield which will be an energy waste, besides the fact then they take too long to kill and that is also energy waste.
( Remember druids are your friends)
