We're not very active on the forums. A few of us visit the forums but mostly in general discussion and feedback

I mean actual in game

Well give it a few days to a week or so of letting yourself being seen and they'll start talking to you. The castle is interesting and I try to avoid it as much as possible. Went there yesterday and got asked for gold by 11 different players and 2 that asked if they could borrow my mount. So a lot of that happens and it makes other players leary to talk to new players unfortunately.
