Players disappearing or playing new alts more?

I have noticed that a lot of old players on my friend list have gone missing. Kinda feels like a different game without them. Just wondering if they have really quit or playing their alts more.

Lol curry I saw you try to get a hold of me the other day but had so much chat going between clan and whispers your message got lost in the scroll and before I knew it you were gone. What time do you normally try to get on? I've still Been collecting my hoard albeit slowly since I've been caught up with farming for next event and bossing.

Lots of alts. I also noticed there's a lot of new players
It is particularly sad when a few of my old friends in the game have stopped playing regularly saying they got bored of the game. Clearly, there are not enough good quests to keep them interested.

It does seem as if a lot of experienced players have quit, but what usually happens is at a certain level people do get bored but that's cause leveling becomes so hard without lix and res pots. You either have to group or spend a lot of money to level. There isn't many quests once you're 140ish.. it just becomes a grind fest til DL. Then the real grind and fun begins.I know most of the high level players ala Freya, Nyke, ZyZ etc all have alts. Including myself.. well I have to many alts.. but that's another topic for another time Hehe.

Sometimes you have to make your own fun. This game us an mmo which means there's a social aspect to it. For me, the fun is in the people I've come to get to know from gaming and become friends with. So, grab 1 or 2 and go lix together while chatting and joking with the clan in clan chat.
Also, after awhile if you're not in a clan that can get end game gear and kill harder but new bosses, it can be tough to stay motivated.
