Has anyone else noticed how rude everyone is on these boards? I just made a passing comment, in jest, which was going along with a joke and I was called "dumb".

It's funny because the thread this question was asked on was a total joke. The fact that you took a joke THIS seriously, makes it defeat its intended purpose. You sir, are the dumb one, and have just lost the game.

This makes me sad. I thought these boards were a place to discuss ideas and have fun. Not a place to call others dumb. Granted I have no qualms about calling people out on their misadventures. If you're playing unfairly or rudely I will say something. It's my nature.

I will say that this has greatly soured my feelings for the boards and the game.

I have seen this sort of thing before TKarasu, and I agree with you. I don't know where this thread came from or its context, but regardless of who comments like this are directed toward, they are not very nice... Sadly this sort of thing will likely continue and possibly get worse as more people start playing CH.

My only advice on the matter is rise above it all and try to not let the *** get you down...

Thanks. I did report it and the post, the one I quoted, was removed. However it is nice to know that you all look into that kind of thing and don't let it alone.
