I don't like PVP much myself, but if you want more of it and especially large group battles they need a Teleport Stone in the corridor (near the quest lady).
It's hard to organise battles but if people could port it would remove some of the problem of getting them all there at once.
Also how often do people who like PVP run all the way to the Arena, find it empty and then leave disappointed? Eventually people stop going.
I suppose the quests have brought people back briefly each day but you still might go there and only find players waiting on the quest and not eager combatants.

Land, yea arena is annoying to get to. I'm testing in beta now and i'm not allowed to provide any details, but I will say we are trying to make PVP a bigger part of the game. It was said before beta that there will be new entire PVP areas in the future so hopefully it will add another method of dimension and allow us to take out arena jerks more often. When the beta ends i'll be able to provide more details for people who are interested
