I've played other MMO's I know the traditional acronyms :p but where should I grind for in shalemont? gone up to almost 30's with the same gaunlets I got 20 levels back xD saved up to 25k by item shop chests, sold some knowledge potions for 3k, hoping to get the 50k amulet from lir's reach to be set for a while.

You won't be, trust me. I still remember getting my first 10 energy tick brace. It got pretty bad at greygorge when i trained there. I would save up for me, i dunno. If you gained 50k so quickly 200k will be no prob. It will be worth it in end, trust me

what's the difference between the two? and I'm running out of free plat offers to get that much gold

The best Trader seems to gives 50% of the original price back if you sell him higher lux stuff. So players will usually not sell for less than half original Trader price.

Not sure if this applies to lower level lux items eg level 50.

Basically quite Sound advice. With a minor flaw.
I would not expect to get many a buys at the prices the game traders take back items.
As a seller I would not take the effort of selling to a player if I don't get substantially more than from the game shop. Basic rule of economy, Marketing costs have to be paid for. So expect something somewhere in the middle of the two prices.

Ooohhh so that is how you guys suddenly spring up everywhere.
