I'm not playing on Epona, so I'm totally clueless, but I am in semi-agreement with Alpha. I can't seem to understand how two clans help each other on bosses, and don't put their clannies before other clan members? Wouldn't it be better to just form 1 clan?

Even most of the leaders dont like eachother enough to merge THEIR clan into a rivals clan, the only way i could see 1 clan happening is if a NEW leader was elected and didnt get into any arguements. However theres not anyone i know of epona that dosnt dislike at least one person sooo i dont see that happening. Besides who wants to have a clan chat where most of everybody despises the other? My personal opinion though there's almost no difference between arma anarchy and exodus. If one falls another will replace the other i cant say any of the clans are better than the other. Balences between clans are they key. Having more than one clan is nice because not just 1 person has the whole say of a huge clan. Saying the idea of many clans is terrible or it sucks actually in comparison is like saying "i dont get why there are other country's in the world" thats what hitlers point of view was is total world domination. Is that what you mean alpha one clan should dominate everything like how one country should be the only one in the world under one ruler? I know its just a game but there are similaritys with politcs.

I made a clan a while back that was pretty successful that could help in your predicament. Take the 5 clans and when you put em together make a dummy as the clan leader and make the 5 clans leaders generals that run the entire clan. Make a dkp system which is a hell of a lot better imo then rolling. And you can figure it out from there. The clan I started is still going on since about a year ago and is still 3rd or 4th strongest.

A leader must be respectable and has to represent a whole clan with good behavior, a dummy as a leader isnt respectful or honorable. But i think the way it is run is 200% better than anything you think because rolling on any boss gives everybody a chance and there is not as many accusations of one big clan being greedy as hell. Letting everybody roll avoids clan politcs and why the hell does it matter what clan you are in as long as your at the boss fight? One huge clan is just an excuse to do whatever you want to anyone's else that dosnt want to be in the same clan as you, i look at one complete huge clan as a very one sided kind of dominance, server balences are required to keep the peace. If you got a huge dominant clan on one server, i wouldnt doubt the server you are in died really fast because people start to disagree one by one then people quit and there is no server to play on.

Don't start another fight for this again, there would never be a problem if it wasnt for some that are so addicted they take game like rl and do anything to get thier drops... Certain armas like this which always cheated double rolls duel logg afk but still need more! Relaxing the rules and leaving less tension better then making it so tough that all argue. In the end makes no difference :) need same rules for all so no arguments or confusion, and watch these cheeky firesophs who don't think rules apply to them, relaxed rules fine but cheating should never be ignored like it has been heaps, youre encouraging them to do it more if let it pass. And serioulsly, did you ever hear of sarcasm or too serious now to take anything a joke? Hehe lupa

Its easy to blame one person or a whole clan but im positive other clans do this, it's not hard to make another character and keep it secret, greek could be anybody just as much as soph being anyone. Point is we will NEVER know truly who is who unless we can talk to them in real life or some kind of social network. Its easy to accuse people of anything but to prove it entirely is a whole different story.

I like the new clean discussion we are having here. :)

I personally think myself how this would not work. Someone tries to join one clan, gets rejected, goes to the other, gets accepted. If we merged clans this is basically what would happen. You would make two clans one and then a few people would not like that Idea and either stay in arma or exodus, unless kicked. Or they might just not join the new one due to people they do not like. Then guess what would happen?


A new clan. We would have the same problem all over again. Then either they join a pre-exsisting clan or make their own clan with many who may follow.

Then we would have one big clan (or smaller), anarchy, and then the new clan.

This is not just between 2 clans there are at least 4 or 5 other popular clans. Whats so wrong with helping other people with bosses as long as everybody helps and gets a chance at the drop by using dice i dont see a problem. People have friends in other clans and who dosnt like helping eachother out? Not like every clan is an enemy, clans have alliances with other clans probably.
