Re: 90+
#8Well I've been playing for at least 6 months and in level 94... It gets harder as you go.Hi, I started to play today a few hours ago and I'm already lvl 10 in this server "Epona", I really like this game and I would like to know how long doest it take to get lvl 50, 70, 80, 90, 100… etc? in average… is it a matter of days, weeks, months?
Greetings!

Re: 90+
#9Sorry for drifting off topic here, but this info may be valuable to all those 'noobs' (no offence, we were all noobs at one point) who see us level 90's running around wondering, "How the heck did they manage to get SOOO strong!"
As to your question about how long it takes to get to level 90, it varies depending upon how many hours you play a week, whether or not you are killing enemies that are level appropriate or not (i.e. not too much higher or lower than you are), whether or not you have help from someone else, and whether you can afford potions/elixirs that boost your experience returns (using platinum from the item shop). Another factor is whether you can afford any rejuvenation gear from the Luxury shop (they are VERY expensive, so unless you convert plat to gold, it is unlikely you are in this category at level 10...). These items reduce the downtime in between fights while you recover. If you can't afford these items, make sure you invest a few skill points in meditate and recuperate.
If you are just starting out, make sure you complete all the main quests in Lir's reach, Crookback Caverns and Dustwither, including the statue quests. Just check out all the exclamation points on your map, and follow the instructions of the quest givers (if you get lost or confused, check your quest log or ask for help from someone). This way you won't miss anything,
If you do this, you should get to level 20-30ish in no time, at which point you should move on to Shalemont Ravine to train there. By the time you get to level 50-60, you should move on to Stonevale, and so on. Joining a clan can also be beneficial as it can help you gain insight into less obvious aspects of the game...
FYI - I have been playing this game since late June of last year, and my main char is only level 91... that being said, after I grinded my way to becoming the first level 60 in Epona (about 6 months ago) I sort of slowed down my pace and take a more relaxed approach to the game. I also have 4 other chars who range in level from 35-77, and I don't spend much money on exp pots/elixirs, as many people do. In the words of my dear friend/clanmate Dutchman, "It's not a race!"
Words to live by, good luck and enjoy your CH experience!
