Modified Agg Rules: Epona Server
Posted: Thu Mar 28, 2013 8:50 am
I have started a new thread seeing that the last ( Modified Agg Rules: Epona Server) topic was locked as requested by the (Poster) i will not let this topic die out becouse many have not even seen that post or have had there say. I will debate this to the end and I will make it my duty to stand up for all that are effected by this.
Please keep this topic clean. We are not hear to fight and mock each other. We are hear to debate in a civilized manner to resolve this and keep all memebers happy with a solution that is fair to all memebers and classes.
As wrriten by the last (poster) the new (Modified Agg Rules: Epona Server) Inforced by wardens and high levels that think they control Epona. Read on.
Modified Agg Rules: Epona Server
To prevent confusion and arguments at Agg, and in order for it to continue running smoothly, new rules will be implemented at the next spawn. These rules have been debated and agreed on by representatives of each clan.
Rules to be in Effect:
1. Minimum attendance level of 140 (see note a)
2. One roll per each eligible player
3. Eligible players who are late are not entitled to a roll. Late is defined as when the tank has placed aggra and the dps are attacking.
4. Eligible players who are not contributing an reasonable amount will be denied a roll (see note b).
5. A special group devoted to adds will be established and consist of 1 tank, 1 druid, and additional dps. This group must stay attentive and rapidly kill the adds to ensure they do not kill the druids in the tank group. They should not be attacking aggra.
6. Players who are known to be in non-compliance with the Terms of Service of Celtic Heroes are not eligible for a roll. This includes known scammers and buyers/sellers/traders of accounts.
7. All rules to be stated before the fight starts, not after.
Notes:
a) Only exception is where there is a shortage of require players at the eligible level. In such situation, the tank has the authority to personally invite lower level players.
b) An example is an afk druid/tank who must pay attention. Upon noticing a non-contributing player, it must be said for all to hear that you have identified the issue. The player has the opportunity to begin contributing. If, however, they do not improve, other players will take note of this and state that they cannot roll.
Quick Rule List
1. 140
2. 1 roll
3. No roll if late
4. No roll if lazy
5. Add group
6. Must comply with TOS
7. Rules known at beginning
And now my post to what you have read above..............
Looking at the rules, one thing does amuse me. It says that all clan leaders or leaders of major clans have agreed. I have yet to be invited to that meeting. Must be my ghost that agreed: lol: .
After speaking to cerb I have come to know that he was not given the option to oppose or at least talk to our clan leaders let alone me. I do agree that Levels have to be a certain level but, the way it has been handled is what I disagree with and find many in the same frame of mind, and thinking as me.
I do agree with Crystalistic that the poorer will get poorer and richer will get richer. If you defined that in level terms, high levels will always be getting drops making them stronger and resulting in low levels not getting a chance.
Don’t forget that one’s upon a time players like myself and Alex and Bk and many more were all levels of 130 and 120 and they got every chance to be on the aggra kill and no one complained then. Now most are high and seem to think they have the right of upping the levels and enforcing rules that target low levels which in my Opinion is not low at all if we are talking about levels of 130 and above.
As for the rest of the rules some are reasonable and some are not.
The reason of my post on this topic is to fight for players and clans who are trying there hardest while high levels are deciding their fate. That is not fair play. That in my opinion and many who, have talked to me about this, feel this is, bully tactics of controlling how one will play and behave or be cast out as many have voiced out.
