Farewell

Throughout my time playing Celtic Heroes, I’ve met people from all around the world who are connected by this game. It’s amazing to watch strangers aged 11-“84” grouped together to accomplish a common goal, with no one person considered superior to another. Is this ever seen in real life?
When I look back, it’s not the game I will remember; it’s the people. The people who have most impressed me are those who consistently display politeness, generosity, and thankfulness. I have great respect for people with these qualities.
I’ve noticed, you can be the most effective player in the whole game, but you’ll never be successful without good social skills too. That’s why it’s so very important to be friendly to all players of all levels all the time.
People have helped me in the game in many ways and I have always been thankful for each one. Although it is just a game, the thankfulness I feel is real and will last. So, when people help you, here’s my advice: be thankful and say so!
I’d like to encourage everyone to be an ambassador for integrity. Consider others before yourself. Gossip often (compliments only). Don’t hoard your items, give them away. The benefit of a friendship earned is worth more than pretend gold. Invest a little time each day being generous (giving items, giving time, giving compliments, giving help outside group, or even giving drive-by healings).
I had a year’s worth of fun with Celtic Heroes and although I will no longer play, I won’t forget the many friends I’ve made through this game. Each of you are special, and I appreciate you all very much.
In conclusion, I’ve never known how to write a short message, so thanks for sticking it out until the end. Take care and have fun!
