So I've heard prices vary between worlds for certain things. I don't really understand if that means NPC shops or player shops? Also, kinda new so don't know where to buy cheap things and sell them higher in other places, stuck with 2k gold... I don't see myself with an energy amulet soon 3: btw I'm a warrior, lvl22 :)

The shop prices are one of the worst parts of this game. They are outrageous.

By farming, do you mean farm bosses with people and sell the drops or farm quests? farm general enemies even though they give bad gold drops?

When you get to level 150 you will be lucky to get a used off-hand. You will have to buy it full price (500k)

Prices only vary between worlds for items that one player sells to another.

This would include:
1) items bought with Platinum (plat) from the Platinum shop and sold to other players eg Elixirs and Rebirth books etc.
2) drops from monsters then sold to others. For example quest items or non quest weapons, armour and weapons.
3) 2nd hand items originally bought from an NPC game Trader and resold to a player. These are usually called Lux items.

All items sold by the game Traders (ie NPC not real people) directly to players are the same price on all worlds.

The highest level of luxury items (level150 or higher) from NPC Traders is always expensive when bought second hand because people tend to save for their alternate characters or keep as backup.

The lower level lux prices are usually much better.

The best Trader seems to gives 50% of the original price back if you sell him higher lux stuff. So players will usually not sell for less than half original Trader price.

Not sure if this applies to lower level lux items eg level 50.

But remember there are some weapon and armour treasure dropped from monsters that other players can sell to you that at level 22 would be good and much cheaper than Trader lux. The fairy swords from stonevale and armour dropped in the catacombs come to mind. But don't pay more than half the Trader equivalent items !!

Good luck on saving. It gets easier once u hit Shalemont and start selling the weapon drops you get there. I found the secret was not to upgrade all the time. Getting the whole set of each level of Trader gear is too expensive.

You should be able to get decent gear for your class just from killing mobs but you cant. I've determined that OTM is definitely more greedy than Gameloft and I really didn't think that was possible. Its really a shame too. OTM has the opportunity to just be the better company. A company that people prefer to the other but man they are sooooo greedy. I mean even at level 20ish it costs like $20 to purchase a set of gear that you wear out of in like 10 levels. Thats just horrible.

Improve the drop rate and have mobs drop class items. EVERY MMO does this except OTM where it is very very rare. It costs 200,000 gold to get the topaz gear in otherworld. Thats crazy.

I love this game. I just wish I loved the company as well.
