Making fun of people that contribute to a better understanding of the game comes to show the type of mentality you have. "Old-School" , blind, and the real stupid one.

This is a fine example of what I get everyday from Relent:

A) Taunting me for being clanless
B) Making fun of me for spending time on forums
C) Spreading false rumors about me being greedy thus why I was "kicked" from the clans I was in
D) Taunting me for not having DL
E) Reporting my accounts for account sharing to hinder my gameplay.

The rolling idea has merit and is an old idea that could tolerate another look. Some find the DL point boring and too rigid. Besides, calculating out points means someone has to do it and that's taking the game too seriously.

Yes, yes, the people change and maybe there are different ratios of jerks vs. not jerks but the drive is the same: High level players trying to kill high level bosses for high level items.
Most people I've met in the game are all chill, friendly, and kind and they are sprinkled across many clans. Never understood what was so enticing about adhering to the "My Clan ___ is way better than your Clan ___!" drivel. The reality is that in this game there is no point spread or game mechanic to bonus or level just because you're in a clan. Therefore a clan is only as good as it's biggest jerkface.
I had always hoped that all the mature players would take their blinders off and see what they had in common rather than what they perceived as differences and then form one awesome clan with a "No Bigfatjerks Allowed" rule. Actually, that was the core concept of every clan I made and is the root of why I was never happy in "successful" elite clans. Elite is not the same as "entitled" but some folks sure act like it.
Meh...maybe I'm just crazy and the server really is just populated by a bunch of boohooing pre-teens and a few grumpy old farts.
Those two shall never get along.
I choose to be a bit of both.

All right guys, even though I am a bit biased(as we all are, whether or not you yourself think so) I am going to give this a shot.

While competition is fine(in fact I encourage it; I hate all this everyone is a winner crap), there is a point where it is taken too far. Arj, I get that you by personality are very, shall we say, passionate about what you believe. However, as a fellow fighter against relent(well, half of one anyway; haven't been playing because of rl; hope to be back soon) I want to say that you need to tone it down a little bit.

Fru, I get that you had reasons for leaving Soli. I personnally don't quite understand them as my personality differs from yours, but I understand that you did have reasons. In all fairness, I will say I don't agree with your decision, but....

Leg, you need to admit that some members of Relent honestly have acted like complete butt cheeks to members of opposing clans. I'm not saying that Solitaire is perfect either....I'm just saying that Relentless has done some things that stoke up clan rivalry.

SinFear and quercos: It's probably not going to happen. It would be cool if it did, and I believe Gwydion would be a powerful server, but there are way too many grudges. Also, competition is "what keeps it going". There are many people who like a challenge(me included). So I doubt there will ever be a clan like the one you wish. It's possible though.What would need to happen would be for a group of likeminded people to take initiative and not wait for others to act. These people would have to be very active. Maybe then you would have a small chance of succeeding.
