Celtic Heroes

I, Quercos, am switching my main. Druids seem to have become less needed since the update and I struggle to level the old Healer. My new toon is a warrior named QuietGraveOwl and I am looking for a few things to beef him up. I am going going with a soloist hybrid build, dual weapon vibe...it just feels right going independent after 11 months of being a codependent healer. I am open to suggestions on necklaces, armor, weapons, etc. I am just getting my head around being free to solo mobs over my level and survive! First and foremost I would like:
Rupture Skill book. I am specializing axe/blunts. The idea of bludgeoning and hacking something to death just feels right. I already have giant swing, sweeping blow, and shatter as offensive skills. Am I missing anything?
Hero Ammy or some similar energy booster (I confess my ignorance in necklaces, Q Druid still only has a blessing of belenus and +40 energy ammy).
Open to suggestions on armor for a solo roller.
A vehicle: anything 40% or over, I'm not picky. Something you've been meaning to get rid of.

Warrior stinks dude! The new armor forces you to be tank basically. Its 100% your decision but I would try out rogue or ranger. Rogues are great for DPS and rangers are great to solo. Goodluck with whatever you try

Dont listen to that noob Zaits and start a warrior (only works for him because he has plenty of sigils and uses lots,of lixes and restos), just change your druid stats and skills and go dps druid. Very easy to train solo at low cost.

Pros

Yea druid is very good. Can be great DPS. Adda is able to usually out DPS some of our mages and rogues, maybe ask her about her skills. Also, on druid u dont need restos or combos or hastes, u can just use knows.

Well I interviewed several trusted friends and it came out that most felt warrior was the best for both taking dmg and dishing it out. This build is not dps it's soloist/don't need help/kill 3 monsters at once/brawler build. I looked at rogue and they make great dps not so much hybrids. Plz correct me if I'm wrong.

Ask killerpro he has a more blunt/axe build i believe he does very good dmg as for your warrior go for quarts or diamond intill you have full frozen this is a pre update thing everyone without a astral bp did is get a diamond one. With quarts and diamond you will be able to have str and vitat. The new vendor armours are junk except adamant. Use a hero ammy and a str offhand like the golden blades and axes. Try not to have over 300 str do to the plateau including your gear and go rest in vitat. Ofcourse ull want hero gloves. To be honest a great build will require a bit of spending a ranger is a decent class with little spending get a quiver and ammy and ull be set.

K heres my old build-ive shared this with a few other people and it is working out well for them.

-This build is good for tankin but still dealin pretty good damage. Lots of times i would tank and still get the kill on bosses. As a bonus, this build is also prtty good at pvp.

Stats
Str-enough to get u to 300ish with item bonus
Dex-30-50(basically for the defence-60 to 100)
Foc-10(ur regen shuld cover ya
Vit-the rest

Skills
Pro stance-max
Swing-1 still use it though
Sweeping-same as above
Dba-enough to get 10 lvls above u
Shatter-max
Def form-high
Taunt/warcry-10 points or so(dont need if ur not gonna grp too much)
Bandage/recoup-i didnt use em but they might be useful if you have any extra points and want a heal

*a variation...if ur gonna roll axe/mace u might wanna lower/replace def form,warcry,taunt, bandage, or recoup*

Items(these arent necessary but worked out for me)
The best armor u can get
Regen ammy
Energy regen brace
Damage brace
Damage charm
Skill rings
Damage rings
Defence rings
A form of haste(gloves/ring)
Damage offhand(blade/axe)

One of these...
Sword(nice since its fast and the quest item)
Axe/mace(for dat rupture)
Spear(great for burst damage)

Zaits is not a noob. Hes a level 160 warrior and one of the best tanks in clan them. He is very generous, mild and caring which are the perfect personality traits for a tank. Your class kind of defines what kind of person you are.

I dont mean to start a fight or anything, Its nice to see a non-fighting/accusing/trading and pure strategy discussion post on gwydion forums.
