As many of you may know, the clan Bloodbarons fell apart ages ago. My forgotten druid (a disaster in her own right) remained there and when I logged in, I found her the chief of my beloved, but now empty Bloodbarons. As time went on, old Bloodbarons members all asked for a spot in their beloved Bloodbarons. All using an alt off course, or a bank. Which got me to thinking…

We all struggle with finding trading partners – we never know who is selling what or when, sometimes it is tough to truly trade not knowing who is online or when, who is a bank or what they have for sale. I have now decided, in an effort to promote cooperation and fair trade on Gwydion, to turn my beloved Bloodbarons into a banking clan. The only members allowed in; are banks – and we encourage fair trade, regardless of clan affiliation. Scamming off course can not be prevented, and items will not be refunded by the Bank clan as this is an association to promote fair trade only and no promise to prevent it, however any member found scamming will get a life long ban to the banking clan, and as I hope that all clans will be represented, word of the scammer will spread far easier than before.

I hope that this banking clan will also become a forum for peaceful negotiations between clans.

I will log CaptainCrunch in this evening and start inviting banks – please feel free to whisper me and ask me for an invite – remember though, this is banks only! No specific clan rules apply, you will be expected to follow your own clan rules, with the exception of scamming off course, which will have you summarily kicked from the banking clan as well as reported to all other members.

No one will be refused entry, no matter how small or large, how important or trivial they think they are, no matter what level, clan, person, or history, and you will be free to run your shop as you please within Bloodbarons. So basically, the rules will be this:

1. Only banks and shops allowed
2. No begging (we are there to trade, not provide charity to folks who are too lazy to farm for themselves)
3. No scamming (guys please follow the rules of no account trading, and please be careful when trading – thinking before you select ok really saves people)
4. All clans allowed entry
5. Members must respect other shops/banks
6. No clan dissing – we keep this shop relevant folks – if you do not get along with a clan, this should be kept outside of the shop/bank clan as it isn’t relevant to business.

My bank is in a different open bank clan, called banksofgwydio lol, its open for only banks to join as well

Lol, I have never even seen the clan, perhaps that clan is only for certain members or certain clans? If it is open to all, we should perhaps decide which banking clan is the most active and then take it from there? I will be starting up the banking clan either way as I want to run the bank as a trading post. I also think a specific spot within the castle would be quite nice as well, then folks can buy from banks within that area even if they are unsure of who banks are. Just a thought, and needing lots of tweaking, but as time goes by I am sure I will figure it out. Suggestions will be appreciated

Lol, I have never even seen the clan, perhaps that clan is only for certain members or certain clans? No it is a bank clan opened to everyone on this server. This bank was started a long time ago and chief of this clan is buyselltrade. If was funny how I asked a complete stranger if I could make my alt join when I saw the banksofgwydion title over his/her head. We shared a mutual idea of making this clan the bank/shop of Gwydion. Everytime I see a bank character at farcag I always ask them if they would like join. To my surprise most people said yes. We currently have around 10 recruits. The number one rule of our clan is privacy, do not ask who peoples main are unless they share the info willingly.

I don't mean to start a competition I think I would be happy in any bank clans as long as I remain my general position (because I love recruiting!) Thanks for bringing up this idea
