I am not sure this is the work of noobs...

They are extremely good at guessing what ppl have in their inventory
Better start looking into your own clan if they are guessing so well

Ahhh, but Dean.......
From my perspective, your comment sounds like "hatred and flame". While from yours it was "a joke"

Very much like this weekend, when you and your pals were killing mobs that LB and I were obviously lixing on.
You may have seen that as good clean fun, or maybe retribution for someone having done that to you...

But LB and I haven't done it to you or the other ppl who were, from our perspective, just being jerks.
(Note: I am not whining, just as I said nothing to any of you in game. It is simply an example of how things look different from different points of view. Please feel free to continue to do this to me, as it doesn't make all that much of a difference to my lix time. I can just move to the next one).

Back to my original point...
There is/are scammers targeting many players from the top several clans. People within Infection have been warning one another, and I thought it would be polite to warn others, so the scam doesn't work.
I don't mess with training groups unless they mess with me... If you were there first then I definatley didnt attempt to disrupt your training so it must've been a misunderstanding. I could've killed a mob but their isnt anything wrong about it? I'm not even saying that loosely... I didnt kill any mobs near you at all.

99% of the time its a misunderstanding that gets blown out of proportion and results in harsh words being said.

Yes, Mr. TheWind. That is the easy solution.

But pretend for a moment that i am 100 years old, and have been playing the game for 2 years now, with my very best friend in real life, who lives next door to me, and they are named BigDummy.

Now pretend that for some silly reason, the number 2, looks exactly like a lower case letter U in the game...

Someone could make the name BigD2mmy, and chat with me, as though they are my friend.

my very best 101 year old buddy and I might trade items back and forth without worrying about any scamming, because i could walk next door and paint "scammer" on his garage door. Plus the fact that we are best friends.

So now, BigD2mmy logs in, and says "Hey Shade! can I borrow your void trident for a few. i need to train my spear on Aggy."

Believing i am actually talking to BigDummy, I would probably say "why sure, BigDummy! here ya go!" And trade them.

Now, of course, it isn't anyone's fault that someone can do that, I suppose... And it would be my fault for not checking further, like, for example i could yell out my window "Hey, BigDummy! is that really you?"

But some people dont have the luxury that I have with BigDummy, of yelling out the window, and maybe they don't know that the number 2 looks exactly like a lower case letter U, so it seems like it might be nice of me to post something about it on the forums as a warning.

BTW, the 2 and u do not look alike in the game, but some other characters do. Hence the warning post.

Thank you for taking the time to read it, and I hope you continue to help others not get scammed.

Ever Yours,
