Honest mistake Liv. Esp as the skills bosses cast have tended to mimic skills players use. I may be wrong, but their main damage type used to also be something they resisted more than the others, and i believe necro resists poison.
I have only been to 3 "tests" myself, as my main is a rogue, and close quarters seem to be a bad idea as far as our testsing has gotten.
In the past, I have been involved in boss strategy testing that took several skill/stat resets, the purchase of new lux, half a million idols, sometimes creating and power leveling a new char... I do miss the days of being a part of that process, even tho I was simply a worker bee just following directions.
These newer end game bosses pretty much require complete end game armour/weps, and for some reason, we continue to have a shortage of people wearing full DL on herne
-- perhaps this is partly due to the boredom that occurs when chars reach the level of the highest mob in the game. People decide to mothball their fully equipped chars and play another class, or they quit playing altogether. (Before it starts off in another direction - Infection is not the only clan with people in DL, tho most of the fully equipped have gone the "play less" route) I imagine the worlds that kill the necro on other worlds have a higher number of full time playing, DL loaded chars.
There is also the issue of some classes being popular, but getting a significantly smaller number of certain drops than most other classes **cough -- you know which I mean -- cough** which can certainly cause a lot of tension within the higher level clans, leading to less cooperation both inside individual clans, and between them.
