Scammer deleted character....can I have stuff/gold refund?

Okay, hi guys, (Celtic Heroes "Support" Team),

This is gonna be a final attempt to finally get through to you guys. I HAVE sent in MULTIPLE support tickets about this situation. I will in fact name the player since she has deleted her character, and so you can find the multiple suppor tickets from me. *Name Removed* scammed me of these items: Heroic Ammulet of Rejuvenation, Heroic Boots of Speed, Heroic Gloves of Haste, Lesser Midsummer Oak and Yew Bracelets. I am not interested in the bracelets, but because I had spent $120 of real money to purchase the heroic items, I feel that I do deserve some kind of response. I've sent in at least three support tickets when I found out *Name Removed* killed off her account, and in this time I've gotten no responses. I would either like a gold refund for heroic items, or the Heroic items refunded back into my inventory.

I apologize if naming this player falls under "naming and shaming" but it must be said. A lot of people know what happened an they all feel the same way I do. This is my final attempt to get through to Support for some kind of refund.

Omg you guys aren getting it. I was transferring items when she took them. Now her account is GONE. My items are GONE. not with someone else. GONE. Meaning nonexistent. You guys don't care about your players. We buy plat...okay. We get scammed, we ask for some kind of refund, and we wait days, weeks, months, for some kind of response. Me, I've gotten none in-game. Which is really...I don't knkw what to call it. If her account was sti here I wouldn't be writing this.

She deleted her account WITH my items. I've been chasing this matter for a few months. Is it so hard to refund me the exact amount of gold for Heroic items that I lost?

Srry but community is right only time a player would have a right to compensation is if it was OTMS fault for example an item just disappears in ur inventory, this is when they can return ur item. They are not responsible if u decided to give/loan/transfer/trade ur items to someone else and they decided not to give it back. It sucks but its just like in real life the company isnt responsible for what u do with the items or if they break unless its a manufacturing error.

How do you know that this user didn't trade your items to another alt of theirs and then delete the character, giving you the impression that your items were gone with the character?

All trades should be treated as final. When you traded your items with the user to transfer, expect them not to give you your items back - it was your decision to transfer your items using this user and these are the consequences that you knew perfectly well could happen. It is not new that all trades are final and it even says it on the confirmation screen, regardless of what the user does to the items after you gave them. The user's items are theirs once the trade is finalised so you cannot tell Support to restore items that are theirs.

I did NOT know the user was going to run off with my items because it has never happened. Yes I treat all trades as final but we're talking about real money that I spent that is gone. All I want back are the three heroic items or the exact gold to purchase the items back from the shop. That's all I ask. Nothing more and nothing less. I've sent in support tickets trying to help people recover lost accounts, I've gotten lost items from scammers back to the original players. I've stopped people from transferring with scammers. I would just like either one back. As of now I can't even do damage to level properly. I can't borrow items because people see me as a potential because of a player that's spread lies about me scamming someone close to me. Ease refund the gold or the items so I can continue playing the way I used to before I lost my items.

Look Kokurou, i know that you are being honest, but the point is, transferring has to go through a trade, yes? All trades are deemed final. She has the right to do whatever she wants with the goods. But, OTM is making a mailbox system to prevent scamming from transfers. Their way of saying sorry is by correcting the cause of the problem. They pay their employees REAL MONEY, just to add this feature. Think of your $120 as an investment

Sorry Kokurou, it may make you feel bad, but the only way to get the account back, would be for the original owner of the account to ask for it to be restored.

By the way, how do you know they deleted the account? It could've been banned for all we know

I do feel sympathy for you but I also have to show you why you might not be able to retrieve your items. Items, especially luxury ones, are very commonly scammed by even trustworthy players because they realise how easy it could be for them to get the luxury goods that they always wanted. You may have purchased these items with real money, but that means you should have been even more cautious with trading them. At the end of the day, it is your decision who to trade with and what to trade, so it is down to you. Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to make you feel bad or seem like I have no emotion, but I am just being realistic here. :)

If her account was banned then....why is it so hard to just get my items back? I can't lvl without borrowing someone's Otherworld lux or weps because I have no damage with just Dagger of the Darkest Night.

And as for everyone FINALLY responding I've sent in multiple support tickets with no response until I finally post here. Does this not bother anyone???
