Stop all the fighting and why dont you guys just bond? The more the merrier, you dont expect to kill mordris when all of the best players on herne are split into 2 clans?
I have nothing against infection, but when you are killing some of my best friends in the arena, i will favor my friends side.
Who cares if i am not the highest level, who cares if i dont have a say in what we do. the least i can do is suggest to the people of herne.
A good competition is a healthy competition.

I am not saying form into 1 Master clan, i am saying to work together for once on the biggest boss in the game.

Hatred...

Your name is ironic, considering your message, btw

The simple truth is this:

If we joined together, we would, indeed create a super clan. This wouldn't be a simple merger between all members of both clans.

That super clan would probably only accept members whose main chars are over a certain level ( my quick guess is 180 ). There might be an age requirement, or maybe a plat spending requirement.

The drop system, while not working quite the way Asc drop works, would probably not work in the favour of " junior members" tho having anyone considered "junior" is extremely unlikely.

This new clan would have super high level mains, and each member would be working on alts of all classes, as soon as their mains reached level X - lets say 190 for giggles - so the thought of anyone outside the clan getting any DL drops would be laughable for quite some time.

I could go on and on... But my point stands at this... You would not probably come out on the best side of this bonding.

Be careful what you wish for

We did something similar to this once but not everyone was on board. And the rules were not as strict as you listed. Maybe at first but overtime they stopped being enforced.

there are a few simple reasons I wasn't on board, if you are referring to me as some of the "not everyone".

No one wants to hear a long rant about how insulting I found that whole episode.

Two of the big reasons people who didnt join were based on loyalty to others and the timing of the invites

Another big reason is the one I listed above -- a superclan would mean that no one else on Herne could get any boss, or any drop, or anything at all, that the members of the superclan didnt allow. With two top clans, at least some things escape the two clans' clutches occasionally.

I like anything super but that's just me.

As much as I hate to admit it, if inf and asc merge together, they would literally take up every boss that other people need. So that one HUGE clan, if you do happen to piss off one person they would all come after you, your clan, and your friends and/or ally clans. It wouldn't benefit anyone at all except the two who would merge and even then there would have to be at least a lvl req, or people with full dl already (including wep, offhand would be optional since nobody has yet). I've thought about that a few times and seeing the tension now, people would get greedy, and eventually split into two clans anyway.

There's no way a third clan could ever emerge. Not enough people play the game and any new comers worth recruiting end up joining the best 2 clans. As of now if your outside those clans you don't get any of the dragonlord bosses.
