What happened to the old days...

What happened to back where everyone cared about personal lives more than what went on in game? As far as I'm concerned no one left infection because they were being personally attacked and insulted due to something non-game related. Is this what the world has become is a bunch of hypocrites?
What makes a clan "the best" for me is:
We don't even care about this game, we spend more time joking around and also educating each other with certain things in our own personal lives. Sure we play the game and that's how we All met, but since then It is more of a personal relationship chatting on the net, than it is playing a mindless game waiting 4 days to kill a useless boss.
To put it in a but shell: what makes a clan the best for me is, to be in a clan with a group of people that we don't even care what happends in the game, we all have fun just shooting the moon with each other and sharing experiences in life that aren't even game related.
Sure everyone might like dragon lord armor, but I would rather hear about how your daughter loat her first tooth today and you gotta be the tooth fairy, that I give two shots about snorri dropping a crown.
DISCLAIMER: sorry clan ascension for spoiling reality, truth be told there is no tooth fairy...
i was back viewing posts and came across this and wondered how we managed to break apart this much and split our friendships by starting personal rumors about another and it's just sickening...
And remember. a rumor doesn't have to be false to classify as a rumor. Just because something's true doesn't mean it's ok to tell the whole world

Sometimes I wish all this fighting stopped... Fight for fun, not cuz u want revenge cuz of something that happened long ago

The tension between two top clans lead to:
1) Competition on bosses? Makes the game more interesting!
2)Arena wars? Sounds fun!
3) Ksing people on lix? What a dickmove! You *** your own lower level clannies over because the rivals will take revenge...
4) Griefing? What a bitchmove! You *** your own clan over because the rivals will take revenge...
5) resetting? What a chocolate eclair move! Need exploits to have fun? Plus you *** yourself over once again!
Conclusion: Don't want to waste platinum? Don't grief, ks or reset! As simple as that...
Now serious, this war is not pleasing anyone on herne (or maybe a handfull) , i refuse to take part in the griefing because a truce between clans starts with yourself....

I'd like a truce too._. I'm tired of the fighting as well... I'd just like to forget what happened in the past and look into the future....

I don't so much want a truce as like said above the competition makes things fun. I would however like both sides to stop ksing lix, griefing and reseting.
Unfortunately I don't see everyone sticking to it even if it was agreed.
