Well I was thinking, and back in update 1 Morrigan had a lottery! So I was thinking maybe we could do another...


So if I do decide to host a lottery it would be as follows;
-You pay x amount of gold for a ticket which enables you to choose 3 numbers between 1-100.
-I will write them down for safe storage until lottery draw date.
-You can buy as many tickets as you like.
-When lottery is drawn I will roll three numbers between 1-100 and the owner/owners of those numbers x amount of gold depending on the participation of world Morrigan.


The rules would be;
Say if I draw 5,41,87 if the lottery drawer draws 5,41,87 they are entitled to the winnings, but if the numbers 41,5,87 are drawn you lose.

Also, if there are more than 1 winner then the pot gets splitted. Example-
Player A, and player B have the same number on their tickets, and their number gets drawn, sayid the pots 50k both will get 25k each.
If there are three winners the pot gets splitter into thirds etc.

P.S-
If this does happen, I will be taking screenshots of the drawing date, as their will be ticket sales and a costume party (Dress as your most favorite character) and lots of festivitys.. I hope! It will be held in the tavern.

Sounds like a gamble. I would think that you would have to state the amount of the prize before people would buy tickets, and it would have to be high enough to make it worth their while, but low enough so that they will pay. Most people will lose, and you might too if you don't sell enough tickets to cover the prize and a little extra for your work.

If you make the prize just a percentage of the amount you collect from tickets, so that people don't know what the final amount might be, then the ticket price might have to be even lower.

Have you thought about offering a high dollar frag or rem as a prize, instead of gold?

My co-leader Julien also has that going on except she doesn't do 100 gold to get numbers she allows people to pick their first 3 numbers and if they want to change she charges them. So in this case our 'lottery' is merely for fun it's not gambling if it's free

Lol, yaye my lottery idea. I do do that lottery in my clan. Numbers don't have to be in particular order, if their numbers are called, they win the prize. Last winner was skilar (she was actually the first ever winner in the RB lottery) :-), her prize was 12k + black ballgown. Money and prize comes from donations that clan members give, and me :-). Its great fun. Our lottery is drawn every Sunday 7pm PST/ 10pm EST :-). First set of numbers, free. If want more 500gold each. Prizes are already set for that weekend.
