Re: Golgatha? A good Clan?
#31/\ i was in the clan for one day before realizing that. I think they have some great members, like Aernak who I wish didn't belong.

Not to correct you on everything you think you may know but, Golgatha translates from Latin into 'place of the skull'. Just sayin.hehe what do you expect when the clan's name comes from a word that means "a place of suffering"
Which ultimately means the same thing, Amirite? Not to correct you on everything you think you may know but, Golgatha translates from Latin into 'place of the skull'. Just sayin.hehe what do you expect when the clan's name comes from a word that means "a place of suffering"
You should at least use Google or Bing to verify if what you are saying is accurate. Not to correct you on everything you think you may know but, Golgatha translates from Latin into 'place of the skull'. Just sayin.
lol ive gained 50% of respect back for you after reading that. You should at least use Google or Bing to verify if what you are saying is accurate. Not to correct you on everything you think you may know but, Golgatha translates from Latin into 'place of the skull'. Just sayin.
Golgatha is a mispelling of Golgotha or Gol'gatha which is derived from gulgutha that is Aramaic for "skull". In Latin, skull is called calvaria, hence the English translation is Calvary. So Golgotha or Calvary mean "place of the skull" which was a name given to that hill outside Jerusalem where Jesus was crucified.
But golgotha (not capital g) also is used to mean a place of grief, or a place of burial, or a place of suffering.
I appreciate the feedback, Tigger. I'm glad to hear that you've had an enjoyable experience so far. Could you honestly say that you're not aware of any validity to any of the claims though, that your leader treats those that he deems "less than him" in a harsh and disrespectful manner? I have spoken to several players, current and former Golgs, that support the claims.Ok, first off, I'm giving you the facts I believe are relevant, not opinions or put downs.
1. True, I've been in Golgatha for only about 7-8 weeks, but I have never been threatened about being kicked because of either my rank or unwillingness to spend money.
2. I've have outfitted quite accordingly in the clan. They have been accommodating, friendly and fun.
Once again, these are the facts that I've noticed that I'm just putting out there. You may feel differently, if so, that's your 1 cent, this is mine.
