Re: Are you sick of being undercut in prices?

I know, someone tried to buy a super combo off me for 6k. 9k is the lowest I will go for a super. I just think that there is too many people in morrigan who have plat, and that is what is driving down the prices of things. Me and you might refuse to sell an super combo for 6k, but if there is someone who needs gold and has plat and willing to do it will get the sale every time.

Thing I notice with plat is it seems to be the people with their parents credit apple or birthday gift apple who lower prices... Those of us who work and spend our own money on plat recognize the value

40 plat for a super combo is about 1$
1$ of real money... It should be expensive

This thread is epic.. I had atleast 10 outbursts of laughter.
Woo! For forum wars!

On topic though, I feel like I have some wisdom to share.

Ok so if you want a stable economy you must have fixed prices.
This problem will never be solved until an auction house or grand exchange is built and allows everyone to see the current prices.
One can argue its possible to have a stable economy without an auction house but the only possible way for that is to make a manual auction house where players stand around in a designated area to sell items. Different items would be sold in different areas close to the auction area. ( I don't see that happening with CH )

For CH, we will need an auction house to stabilize the economy. This " unstable economy " you guys are speaking of is actually in every server. It's just that since your dedicated to your server your unaware of the surrounding problems.

CH Has too many stupid items that are worthless and don't have a real purpose. For example: CH has a sign of the rook or a symbol of meab or a faerie feather which has no purpose, this is versus a hammer which is used for a smithing skill or wooden shafts and arrow heads and feathers which is used for a fletching skill.

This makes the items it hard to have a stable economy.
Yes there are usable items such as dragon discs and play items.
This still gives our economy very little to work with.
So you won't see a stable economy with fixed prices for things until there is a place where people go to sell the items on an auction baced system
I'm tired. Goodnight.

+1, I think when crafting items are introduced it will make the economy a more stable one, especially if they decide to either replace those useless items with crafting materials or create some that drop as well as those useless items. At least then we would still have the ability to sell those items to those other than NPCs, or actally have the ability use them for our own gain, to make those items worth it
