Re: Much In little....

Zap, not tryna stalk you but seriously now. What do you do in real LIFE if you have one, do you have a wife or something? Do you do anything else than rather waking up in the morning and getting on your phone to write 10 page essay's? Or let me ask you. Do you spend time with your family? Or do they hate you for spending too much time on this game?
Bad form trying to criticize someone's real life in a forum. You don't know anyone's circumstance and if you knew Zap's, you'd probably be embarrassed about this.

There are two types of people in this world: Those who crave closure

A business is more profitable if they don't gouge and piss off customers.

Aileron is right. Zapper is maybe Shakespear but If you meet him one day, you will see how good he is, Plus i'm totally sure you can't write a half page so go away. I suggest you " AchillezX " to go listen to that music " Savoir Aimer ". Google translate the lyrics because you can't read french

Achilezx....I don't know you at all lad, nor you me, so I am therefore surprised you take any interest at all in what I write on forums, let alone my private life. You exaggerate greatly as to the length of my posts/replies...the one you quoted would run to about two and a half pages of A4 (at 10point type size), so much shorter than the 'ten pages' you refer to. Nor could two and a half pages of type ever be regarded as an, 'essay', so I can only presume you have never written one?

You show me a character that is simply not interested in education, which is your right of course, as it is mine to be interested in learning about the world I live in and something of its history and cultures. In fact I went to a grotty school, had my first job aged 12, and did many poorly paid jobs right through to my 20s. It was very good experience for me, as in it gave me the impetus not to spend my life working in a factory, trapped like a robot to the conveyor belt and being paid peanuts. Of course if you are happy to spend 40 years doing work like that then don't bother learning, stay stupid and have a wonderful life doing a job you hate. There again, perhaps you come from a wealthy family and won't have to work for your living. As I say, I don't know you and you don't know me.

Not that it is any business of yours but yes, I did have a wife and she was actually my greatest teacher. She was born into a large family and her father was a coal miner (in the days when they worked up to their bellies in water, deep under ground, often with just a shovel and pick and were paid a pittance). My wife was made to leave school at 15 because her parents needed her to bring in a wage. She worked as a dental assistant and she hated it. She would spend her small lunch break studying her Latin verbs (she was determined to get back to school). She begged her mother to let her go back and despite missing a year she finally did get back to school. She started her English degree at Edinburgh university when she was still only 17 and by the age of 26 she had her second, PhD degree, (her doctorate). By the age of 30 she was Head of English at Edinburgh university and she could have had a cosy, middle class, ivory tower existence, taking long sabbaticals and ending her career on a nice, fat pension. But she didn't want that; she didn't want to be some fusty, mouldy academic.....she was as down to earth as anyone could be, and with a wicked sense of humour....she simply happened to be incredibly intelligent. Really her intelligence made her an outcast to her own family and community, and yet she didn't belong in the very stiff upper lip, snobby world of academia. So she went out into the world and worked as a book editor, also a journalist for most of the UK national papers at one time or another, she did some university teaching too, and was loved by her students because of her humour and her ability to make studying have life and meaning to it, rather than be some drab, boring analysis of a writer and his/her work. So, yes, I had a wife and quite a wild one in some ways, which was part of why she was so intriguing (and not just to me, but to anyone in her company, she brought life!). She also helped many people in this world and not in some sanctimonious way, looking for praise or reward.

I am not going to go into the private reasons why I began to play this game, but I confess I had never played an on line game before in my life, or any XBox type ones (I have never owned gaming stuff). I did stop playing CH for 6 months. The reason I play a lot again and also take part on this forum is really down to now chronic insomnia. I sleep 4 hours max in every 24. I do my work but am unable to read anymore, as in relax, ditto look at any TV....in fact my TV broke at Xmas and I don't miss it at all when I am back in Scotland. As you ask what work I do, I used to produce a lot of political caricatures for magazines and newspapers, have also done a lot of humorous greetings apple work and general commercial art. At the moment I am working for an advertising agency. I also did some teaching back in my early thirties, with children who had learning difficulties so were regarded as not intelligent. I very quickly discovered most of them were as smart as other children their age, that their learning difficulties were a result of their very poor home lives. That was a learning curve for me, as in by giving those young children one to one tuition, drawing silly cartoons for them and getting them to think up a story for those pictures and then their delight in choosing words, gaining the confidence to write, made me understand how vital it is for every child to be loved, to be known, to be valued.

So the basis of your insults, as in I am a boring old git, does hold water....I am indeed a boring old git, and one day you will be too. In the words of the bard, 'Youth's a stuff will not endure' (which simply means, youth is very brief....of course you don't know it at the time, only when it has past). So perhaps, having pondered on my private life, you should ponder a little on your own and ask yourself where you think you will be when your youth is spent and you are uneducated because you spent your youth playing CH and other on line games. You might just find yourself even more boring than I am!

I do accept we live in an age where ignorance is to be celebrated, even boasted about and regarded by many as, 'cool'. I simply beg to differ. I am not forcing anyone to read my ramblings lad, so I suggest that as they annoy/bore you then you simply ignore them and go and buy another fashion item on game, or listen to your rap music, or any of the other deeply fascinating ways you choose to waste your precious youth.

PS I don't play CH on my smart phone (or write my forum monologues on one), I use my ipad.

Not to derail... But why was my prostitute comment removed?
Is there seriously an issue because last I checked prostitution was a completely honest trade... Maybe that's the issue! Prostitution is ok and account trading is not so to compare them is unfair to the prostitutes... Sigh whichever admin did that could at least have changed my words to something less dumb sounding
