To Ks or not to Ks.

Hey, I was just wondering if together as a server we could come up with a definition to define whether a ks has occurred or not, speaking to many.. Many different people on this topic there is a wide variety of what people deem as a ks and what they see as totally acceptable. And if we could all agree on this one definition then maybe it would lower the ammount of ksing that takes place and make it a 'happier place' not to sound to cheesy.

i think that ksing a boss constitutes a group having a basic hold on the boss, and a more powerful group comes and takes the kill- it is stupid to claim that because you hit it first, it belongs to you

ksing a mob is the same thing, with the exception that if you hit it first- it is yours

KS'ing Will always be in game until The devs code something to prevent it.

Anyways KS is a deliberate form of action that another Group or Person more powerful than your Group or person comes and TAKES your kill, wether it be a Mob or a Boss.

As I said KS will always be in game Unless you have a Devoted And Determined Group of people to petition against it In Morrigan.

To stop KS if another Clan or group is on a Boss, DO NOT attempt to steal the kill. If they are incapable of Taking the Boss by the time you have a group formed and the Boss resets, it then becomes a FFA (Free For All).

Yes I have been ksed a lot and I hate it too BUT isn't it a part of the game? There is even a class made for it (rogue's high dps but low hp).

But really for my opnion ksing is a part of the game! Everyone wants to get exp, everyone wants to get good drops of bosses, why make the game boring by not allowing ksing? Also for my opinion rogue's are getting disadvantaged by this, because of the fact they are made for ksing (unaspected high damage attacks, and cant take much hits).

That many people dont like it while exping I can understand, but the bosses? Come on everyone wants it and if you dont get it you are simpily not good enough to deserve the boss, go lvl up and defeat your opponents!

My statement is: ksing is annoying, hell yeah! But HEY get over it, it's a part of the game!!

Rogues are meant for groups as the tank maintains aggro whilst the rogue slashes away at the boss.. Not for ksing.

I didnot really meant they are there for ksing. But more that a rogue is a sneaky attacker with less hp, they can choose the bad side and ks for exp.

For my opnion the chance that you get ksed makes the game less boring. Expecialy in boss fights its fun when more groups are attacking and you get the kill!! On the otherside offcourse it sucks when you won't get it, but hey that is what gives the game more action.

But if you asked me there also should be a dead penalty and pvp everywhere. If both things were implemented people would more think about what they do and choose there stats more wisely. (For example: if you ks, there will be the chance that the player asks for help and pk's you with the clan or another example: people won't just run in the area by the chance of getting killed, now no one cares if they get killed) Ok I went a little offtopic :oops:

Hahaha! I love how everybody posts a paragraph long summary on their idea and Keridwyn uses 3 words!(no offense. you kept it short and sweet)

But on the topic of KS'ing, i really havent been KS'ed much lately. Not sure why but im not seeing it as a huge factor in this game. At least at my level.

Lol at y'all. My view on ksing is simple.

If you can't hold your mob or boss against other players, you probably should get a few kses and maybe think on redoing your stats. With the rogue thing, your both right poekie and rhy. Rogues are meant for group fights yea, but I admit, when I got pissed at something I would do a cheap shot ks and sneaky it... which was very affective and has been quite beneficial to me lol :twisted:

People who ks standard mobs are cowards, people who ks bosses are ass holes.
