Scammer using name Pele...caution

Just to be clear, I am Rexrothgirl and Pele, ( female lvl 62 Mage is my alt.)

Apparently Pages is now using the name Pele as well.

Do not give anything to any Pele. I will not be trading on her at all. I have two devices, so I will never ask anyone to transfer for me and I will no longer conduct any "business" on the Pele character, only on Rex.

Hmmm...notice there was no refuting being a scammer just the use of that particular name...
Interesting

Anyway, there is SOMEONE out there using the name Pe1e (which looks the same on screen) who IS a scammer and not to be trusted.

So, no, I don't know exactly who it is, I will retract that part but still want to warn the community about the scammer and to clearly let everyone know that if they are approached for any trade/borrow/transfer/"lemme just try it", whatever, by Pele, it is NOT me and is a scam attempt.

I will not do any transactions on Pele from now on out.

And, in case this person tries to imitate rexrothgirl's name using that same number-substitution trick, lemme be clear. I NEVER borrow stuff, I will never ask someone to "try on" or "try out" their equipment. I have multiple devices, so if I need something off an alt, I will log the second device rather than some sort of "brb on my alt" maneuver. So, if u get asked to do that by anyone with the names Pele, Rexrothgirl, Benediction, or Junebug - it is a scam.

Yay!! Got a message from support this morning that the scammer's account has been disabled! Yippee!

Of course, they did not return/replace items, but that is not what I expected or requested.

Support said "The account has been disabled" not the original account was disabled. But whomever it may be I just want them to know Scamming is wrong, and will always be wrong in every aspect!
