All seriousness, I have a legit question. On my warrior I have a +7 slash bracelet, I just got a +7 magic dmg bracelet. I use 275 combined str. My question is are these 2 bracelets the same for me or is there a difference in the amount of damage these two put out.

Diff mobs/bosses are more vulnerable to diff types of damage. So ur bracelets have the same dmg, but they will have diff effects on diff mobs/bosses. Does that make sense?

I know about the mobs and resists, but I was wondering if I stack both on my warrior I would get the same amount of damage out of them (if resist was 0 in a perfect world for simplicity). Slash vs. magic, I guess i am wondering if you have to have magic equipped (my druid) or it stands alone as additional damage.

I think it stands alone.
It's not +7... It's just 7 dmg.

Slash crutch and pierce work off of str , magic ice and heat are direct damage . A 7 slash with 300 str is 49 damage I believe 7 magic is 7 damage regardless of stats

Ok, Ty that sounds about right. I am probably better off with another slash, pierce, or crush type instead of a +7 magic.

This is correct, Elem damage (Fire, Ice, Magic, Poison) is direct and phys damage (any pierce, slash, crush) is multiplied by your strength. Use Papi's formulae to work out more complex damage equations

Would probably add more damage with a 2 slash than a 7 magic
