Celtic Heroes

Hi all, well there have been a frustrating number of server crashes around aggy attempts and some folks are theorizing that....the clan who shall not be named (and who happens to have a large beta presence and a forum moderator) is in cahoots with OTM to crash the server every time another clan attempts Aggy.

I don't buy it for a number of reasons, including:
--Server crashes happen, tho less frequently, on other servers for aggy fights
--the same thing used to happen last year when there was nothing to do and the entire server would log for falgren
-- sorry to say this, but a clan that currently has a near monopoly on DPS gear and which can kill aggy in less time than it takes me to run to the spawn from the leystone probably doesn't NEED to crash the server to take it from us.

So.....let's crash the server. Just for kicks and just to see if it is sheer volume of people that crashes it.
Let's ALL log for belly or CK or some other boss...

It happens at aggy fights on other servers (I've been asking peeps in beta) but not as frequently as on Morrigan. Why?

I'm not trying to be a jerk but could the sheer volume of plat usage have something to do with it ? That's my theory anyways .

Well Keri, I think its because we use a lot of sparkly fashion and glowing stuff so that puts the servers engine on high and when its all in one area its too much. Hell I lag just being around Ceinwen. With all her sparkles.

People were flooding the shout channel saying we know admin personally, one person even went as far to say one of us was a developer for Celtic heroes. People were flipping out saying that it's BS because the server never crashes when we kill aggy, but they didn't take time to think about it, really. I mean, seriously, Think about the way they do Aggy compared to the way we do it. Clearly the way you guys came about kill it was the reason the server always crashes. Aggy is not ment to be a boss you can idol, it seems silly that people don't understand why the server can't handle this over-flow of idols or even deaths. Maybe it's not the deaths, maybe it's because people are spamming the "Use resurrection Idol" button and the chat can't keep up with this and all the tamers, wyverns, cults, and aggy all casting their dialog at the same time.

I think next time we should take our sparkley stuff off :3 . I think like every avalon member wears at least one armor effect piece apiece. Lol so much sparkles.

Sorry about the bad luck or whatever is happening to your clan keri. I didnt even know aggra was being attacked or was killed! Missed the whole thing!
