Multum In Parvo

I loved the name of that clan (it means, 'Much in little'). All my life the smallest things, both good and bad, tend to have a big effect on me. The first snow drops, followed by the first Spring flowers always stop me in my tracks; their sublime and gentle message, signalling that winter will end, that light will overcome darkness. A buttercup growing in a field is far more beautiful to me that a huge bouquet of cut flowers that cost a fortune. I have been lucky enough to stay in the odd, 'top' hotel and I once ate dinner at The Savoy, but I have had much cheaper meals in much less glamorous surroundings that I enjoyed far more. I have had the odd expensive present given to me in my life time, but the less expensive ones have often given me more delight. There is a lot of truth in that old saying, 'The best things in life are free', but that must be very hard for the young of Western cultures to understand; born into the age of total materialism, a veritable orgy of consumerism.

We can lift someone's spirits with just a few kind words, and cut them down with a few nasty ones. So there is indeed, 'Much in little'.

The only thing that annoyed the hell out of me was that in game, the spelling of Multum In Parvo clan was incorrect! Another example of something very small having a big effect!

Multum In Parvo does not mean 'Strength in unity', it means, what it means, ' Much in little'. I gave some examples of its meaning. If the aim of the clan was, 'Strength In Unity' then it should have been called, 'Vires In Iunetum'.

Bob, This is what you said in your first reply to my post:

Good to know that that sentence means something for u. It is indeed to union of the people tgat makes the clan 'strong'. And the friendship thats the most important

Then you say in your next reply:

Well thats what i basically said...
The fact that with little we do alot.
I never said strenght in unity.

Are you simply stupid or wilfully stupid or both? Your own words say, 'Union of the people to make the clan 'strong'. (Have corrected your spelling which is always atrocious). Then in your next reply you say, 'I never said strenght in unity.' It is there in black and white that you said it!!!!!! Please don't converse with me anymore, you are one of these people who doesn't deal in reality at all...it is just 'Bob World', so you stay in it lad and have fun, but don't presume to think I am going to indulge you any further on any discussion with you when you even deny things you have just said on this forum!

To be fair, Emilus is French and isnt quite proficient in the English language.

To him, saying 'union of the people that makes the clan strong' isnt the same as saying the phrase 'strength in unity' even though they have the same essence of thought, he just literally meant he didnt say those exact words.

Well that explains a lot, cos the Bob I knew certainly wasn't like this one! How come this guy is playing on a bought account? I thought it was supposed to be against CH regulations? Why the hell didn't he say long ago that his first language was French, players like Cys, Luuky and Dusk make that clear. Also they don't try and write at length in English when they don't understand the subtleties of that language. The fact is he completely contradicted himself on this forum, which matches his conduct of my clan experience with him. To me he simply smokes too much weed (but if he lives in Belgium who can blame him). Anyway, he can babble on as much as he likes in his appalling English, I won't read in it anymore or respond to it. I tried and tried to get this guy to understand you can't possibly be an officer in a clan of high level players and let your pal steal and bully from lower level players in your sister clan, but no, he wasn't having it and he never will. He sums up why that clan is a joke, as in lead by mostly sneaky, selfish cowards who have only two priorities, 1) they come first always, 2) 'he who cannot be named' must be worshipped and protected at all costs. A leadership of complete Goons!
