it dosent happen all the time and im in a pretty big clan

but when i say a boss is up, no one says anything
then like 30 seconds later someone else will say it and everyone is like omw!
any advice on how to get more people to listen would be great

Well.. that sucks Maybe your message got in just when every one else was talking? I assume there are more than 2 - 3 people at the time (since you said you are in a big clan) and sometimes clan chat can be quite lively. Has this happened more than once? If not, I'll just chuck it to weird coincidence.

There are more than 45 bosses in the game and some spawn every 5 - 15 min. As a tank it can get a little rediculous running every time someone says one is up. I would have no time to level or do something I wanted to do. Some bosses are more important than others... Deadroot, falgren, belly, lava, stonelord, etc. If you are in my clan I appologize. I am not always looking at the screen. We wish everyone would focus on leveling instead of running around 24/7 killing red bosses and phs. Don't complain we didn't kill this boss or that dragon when we need you to be level 120+ instead of having that shiny new carpet.

Gotta admit I'm with Deuc on this, I'd much rather our clannies spend their time levelling to 120+ and prefferably 140+ rather than running around hunting red boss PHs. If it's a particular drop you need.. Camp that particular boss, but I will mainly leave what I am doing for ***, root, belly, stone and lava, and to help clannies with other things, I will rarely show for a red PH.

guys, just wanted to point out, that the issue is not so much that a (possibly) low level clannie was calling for some boss that's deemed not important enough. but that he called a boss in, got no reply, and then someone called in the Same Boss after 30 seconds, and got immediate replies - per his orig post.


As for the poster, only thing I can think of is that next time you get no reply, just repeat yourself (once...) or rephrase yourself after a while. If no one still replies in any form (even a sorry, bz) then maybe it's time to find a new clan.

I miss the clolored type you could do in the past. I used to use is every so often to get the attention I wanted. Maybe I annoyed some people. But yea, some of calling out bosses has to do with timing. Also, some clans usually stay in groups and mostly read the green type. If I'm leveling at Wyverns, forget about trying to contact me in any way.

I think it's a weird subject. I never ever intentionally ignore anyone, no matter who they are. However, if I am chatting with a friend in whisper, and focusing on our chat, even though all the messages display at the same place, I will regularly miss any clan chat, just reading the whispers without realising.. 5minutes later I may be concentrating on clan chat and see someone call a boss and then may show for it.

I'm not sure if this is about EternalSin as we arn't really a big clan in terms of members, we only really have about 30-40 active mains, but thanks for bringing it up, I will try to make sure I reply to everyone that calls for something.. Even if it is a simple 'sorry, I'm busy right now'.
