What IS going on in Rhia at the moment? We seem to have scammers all over the place! Or is it the same guy trying to just mess with everyone?!
It just seems I can't log in to the forums or the game now without hearing how someone's been scammed or hacked or otherwise tripped out. Is it one person, or have we suddenly been beset by an army of weirdies?!!

Yes I realise I belong to the same clan but even I'm concerned at the amount of scammers or hackers that have appeared in the game at the moment. Not only has it affected clan members but also friends on the game that I'm not sure who to trust : (. I have had friends start requesting for account details or even borrowing items when they have never asked before, though I don't usually lend items now I have a blanket ban on lending items. So if you are a friend and you read this pls don't be offended if I don't lend you items : ( sorry

Unless you get scammed by someone you really trust doing an xfer, anyone that gets scammed (no offence), is an idiot.
The game has introduced such anti-scam measures, and even more-so when the mailbox is out, that it is literally impossible to get scammed.
I do feel for those that get scammed by people they trust, but apart from that, it's your own fault (not that it makes it right to scam.
If scammers are reading this - Get a life. Earn your own stuff like everyone else did and think about how you're making someone feel when you scam them. I find that most scammers are little kids that have no respect or thought for people's feelings. Scamming is stealing and in the real world, people that steal things go to jail.

I know what you are saying - but by the same measure that you reckon a lot of the scammers are kids, a LOT of the peoe playing are kids. Kids tend to be more trusting and less able to realise what ills are out there. Just saying that "idiot" is a bit strong a label for those that haven't led long enough lives to build up a healthy barricade of cynicism.
I'm not saying OTM can do much more, and yes putting yourself in a position to get scammed is daft. My observation is about that I've seen a big hike in the number of instances of people being scammed over the last couple of weeks. I'd kinda like to know why, if there is a why to be had!
