I guess looting people would be hard for this game considering there are tons of in app purchases. But for normal pvp matches u should have to bet atleast 1g to do it so u could actually earn a good item through pvp. I meen killing people is fun to see what their response is but alls u get is a laugh at their rage. (Which is pretty good) money fights would be alot better, and bot just this: hey if i win u trade me 1k and if u win i do the same, cause that obviously evolves into a ditch game. Its a plan that u do first and u hav to pay first then u duel. Like a duel master whos in the castle, and u get to select the level range u want to verse, the money u want to hav for the win, and maybe even the lux range. Or u could just do a normal duel

Or play ultima online in its early days. When you killed
Someone in game you could loot their gear. This arena thing is soft compared to most games. On top of that you can duel in castle if you want to spar or save time by not going there and getting a good leveling group.

There's no reason to quit just becuase you get killed in the arena... Sure it may be annoying to constantly be killed over and over, but the point of the arena is to encourage PVP fighting, with the goal being that the winner gets the XP from the Glad. That may not be EXACTLY how its handled here on Rose, but its what we've got.

That being said. The Arena is in NO way instrumental in playing this game to its fullest. If your game play depends on you getting XP from the arena to level, you arent doing it right.

Just stay out of the Arena.
