Ok here is my honest advice before i go to bed and forget about this,

If you want the skills ahead of time, you will honestly have to buy plat and sell items for gold. Money is in the Chests, somif u do buy anything, buy the snowbound chests.

As to the skills, the best way is to just go leveling on your own and the tomes will pile up as you level.

Stay put of forums unless you want negative fame, nothing positive about them IMO. Specially if you post about another player.

Idk, i dont trust you but lately i think everyone is either darthmal or someone else so hard to tell. Good luck.

I routinely see offers for 50k and would rather sell to someone in clan or a friend. I felt like I cut you a pretty good deal, and could have taken the greedy route and gone for as much as I could.

On another note, try buying Shadowstrike on Mabon. The rock bottom pride is 80k. Period. Hell, try playing a noob character there... not a fun thing to do.

this is very true, an ss tome in Mabon as well as in Arawn is 80k minimum. Me personally I believe that you are Executive and therefor you have all the tomes you want and know all of us. This coming from different observations:

1) you are a noob who knew about forums from Level 1
2) you were selling high lux items at level 3
3) you have a lot of knowledge about the game and its high end players
4) you are being very polite and charismatic as well as you post accurate, descriptive and educated posts on forums, just like Executive who is an excellent con artist.
5) if it smells like unfathomable, acts like unfathomable and looks like unfathomable its probably unfathomable.

I don't need shadowstrike, and I can make plenty of gold without farming hawkhursts all week until a tome drops. He asked me if I could help him and I did. He asked me for a crown, and a drag, and several other things. I sold or gave away and was really reasonable while doing so.

I did it because I want to nurture others and bring them along so that they can add to the pool of great players we have in Rosemerta. I only wish that we could all be a little more kind to each other and mindful that the toons we are dealing with have people behind them that could be spending their time doing something else besides playing a small interactive role in our world.

If we kill all noobs at all costs, and do everything we can to only make ourselves and our friends better, eventually people will stop playing or move to another server. I like having competition. It seems like others are either scared of it, are sociopaths, or just want to hang onto the power they have at all costs.

Sorry for the rant, but playing a noob on Mabon the past two days has given me a whole new perspective. On Rosemerta, I have full dragon gear and play with the best players in the game on any world in my opinion. I am fully sated -- no need for gold or items.

On Mabon, I am murdered the instant I walk into the arena, pretty much routinely, and when I chat players asking to kill glad, I get replies like "f*ck you, b*tch" or "stay the f*ck out of here and you won't get killed!" I realize it is the Arena, but it's a pretty sad glimpse into how rotten and awful people are to each other when they are allowed to interact anonymously. It is the reason I do not recommend the game to other gamers that I know and why I won't let my 10 year-old play it. If the intention by OTM is to create tha tip kind of in-game atmosphere, I'd ask them to reconsider the Arena mechanism a bit or ditch it altogether.
