Knuckle blades. Asset or liability?

Ok im curius to know if its worth actually buying dia knuckle blades.
What are they good for cause im pretty sure daggers and bows get better dps.

Because of the speed they interupt most spell castings. And depending on your hand to hand...mjfifa was in group at ymir guards last night and he is lower then me yet got the kills with knucks when i was getting when he had his bow on.
